jeppyjoh
on this moment arcane warriors are a bit boring...auto attack, shield up = profit...(basic)but is it possible to take some of the mage skills and replace them with warrior skills, that you can have some 2h attacks instead of the fire spells for example by just replacing the codes with each other? am not a great programmer so i guees this would be the easyest...hopefully without ruining the whole game if any one has an opinion on this or an awnser please let me know(btw i got this idea from the fact that some people have stealth on all classes)
ShadowDragyn
If you want weapon skills on your Mage, all you have to do is activate the Developer's Console and type Runscript Addtalent 4022.I don't know what sort of repercussions this may have later, but I know it works. DarkeWolf
I honestly can't recommend using the console to do this. The console has a bad habit of throwing bugs into the game which can break your gameplay. I've been using All Can Learn which basically opens up the majority of all the skills, to all your characters (tho the benefits from some of them *such as rogue* are still class specific.). And it can create some really drastic characters using this.http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=174But yeah, with this I've got a very nasty dual wielding AW Morrigan. daffywotw
I've been using All Can Learn also. It feels like cheating really, lol. But it does make sense, having Shield Techniques as an Arcane Warrior, especially when Bioware encourage it with the Spellweaver sword. I was considering downloading that mod, where you can cast with other weapons. The cast delay, as one would wait for the character to put his/her sword and sheid away first, does get frustrating. DarkeWolf
Well, like I said, you can build some very powerful characters with unlimited access to all the skills. But if it feels like cheating, the only thing thats being cheated is the user's experience with more challenging fights ;)
