Retribution Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 It's sometimes accompanied with the "duduh" sound that plays when you unplug things from the USB drive. As I go on the computer longer, it happens more frequently. Restarting fixes the problem for a while.
LHammonds Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Can you try a different USB port or different mouse to try and determine if it is a hardware issue on your computer or the mouse? After that, I'd look at the software drivers...although it is VERY rare to see a problem with USB mouse drivers...assuming no problems with malware. LHammonds
Retribution Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 I put it in a different USB port and it's working now.
LHammonds Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 If I were you, I'd plug it back into the original USB slot and see if it acted up again. If so, mark that port as being bad or re-check the wires inside the case. Hopefully, it was just a bad connection due to dust/corrosion. LHammonds
