Retribution Posted March 8, 2010 Share Posted March 8, 2010 It's sometimes accompanied with the "duduh" sound that plays when you unplug things from the USB drive. As I go on the computer longer, it happens more frequently. Restarting fixes the problem for a while. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LHammonds Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 Can you try a different USB port or different mouse to try and determine if it is a hardware issue on your computer or the mouse? After that, I'd look at the software drivers...although it is VERY rare to see a problem with USB mouse drivers...assuming no problems with malware. LHammonds Posted March 10, 2010 Share Posted March 10, 2010 If I were you, I'd plug it back into the original USB slot and see if it acted up again. If so, mark that port as being bad or re-check the wires inside the case. Hopefully, it was just a bad connection due to dust/corrosion.
