ninjaking92
Everytime I go to download it the download completes and mind you I downloaded it in 3 different browsers I get the same problem. I cant use the open better citys mob simply beacuse there are no meashes appearently. Everytime I try to reinstall it re download it and reinstall it it never works. I am thinking that the download it it does not seem to be including the meshes. I have also had this problem with open citys. What could I do to get this thing working? I have tryed everything I know. Thanks in advance for the help.

Jenrai
Do you use OBMM? It has its own archive invalidation built in for mods that come as an omod package, and for something as large as Open Better Cities, especially with the immense resources it comes with, you really want to be using OMOD or BAIN (Wrye Bash's installer) in case you have problems/the mods get updated so you can easily remove them. Jenrai So I take it I will need to figure out a way to convert the data to a omod file? Yes and the only way to do that is to use OBMM. The instructions for converting to omod are in the help files that come with it. Or as suggested you can use Wrye Bash which can be a bit daunting for new users but if you follow the directions only for what you need it's not too bad. It has a HTML help file with everything you need to know and many other tools that you may find very useful.
Jenrai
I prefer Wrye, primarily because I use FCOM so its a necessity, though I keep OBMM handy and up to date so I can play with OMOD format mods and repack them for use in BAIN. Miagrets is right, Wrye's like "omfgwtfbbq!" at first, but everything's covered thoroughly in the readme, and I found it could do an awful lotta stuff that I was either using mods to do and thus wasting an .esp, or that I simply didn't know could be done and I was like "Oh wow! How cool is that!" :DI've learnt a lot since then, and these days I recon Bash is pretty much invaluable, though it will scare newer modders & people who aren't too sure about computers at first. Just remember to read the readme before you use any of the functions and make sure you understand them. If you don't, ask. Someone'll help out. ;) Jenrai
