Can somebody recommend me a (simple) visual mod?

I have tried a lot of visual mods (mostly ENB), and they mostly:

A)Make no difference in the visuals, mostly because the advertised screenshots are a combination of mods.

B)Are to complicated to install (I installed many mods on many games, but here problems just keep popping out)

C)When I finally install them they are not that impressive yet DESTROY my fps

D)Or a combination of the previous.

I am looking for mod that's simply more "colorful", an eyecandy of sort.

This is my configuration :

Running almost everything on "Ultra"
AMD FX 8320 Eight Core Processor
Saphire R8 (3 GB )
8 GB RAM
W8.1 Pro 64-bit

Bethesda Performance textures are pretty good, actually everything from Gamwich is really good. He has a variety of retextures that won't kill your FPS. He tries to stay lore friendly, so not all textures would necessarily be more "colorful," but I suppose Rustic Windows can add some tot he game.

Immersive Saturation Boost + RCRN or ELFX

I use Immersive Saturation Boost + RCRN myself.

I would recommend IMAGINATOR but it's supposed to bloat your save games in version 1c so you might not want it. Still, there are still a lot of people using it and I never noticed any issues. If you get it you will also want the MCM.

If you're using an ENB and not seeing a massive difference in visuals, you are doing it wrong.

I highly recommend using Natural Lighting and Atmospherics for ENB and then turning off ambient occlusion and depth of field to improve performance.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Pure Weather. It's not as huge a change as RCRN or RealVision or anything, but as someone who's tried both of those (RealVision admittedly was superior but my laptop was begging for death), I find Pure Weather + Dynavison + Imaginator on the Holy Hell preset just as good as any ENB. throw ELFX in there and tweak your contrast/saturation in the MCM menu, and you're set.

Plus with Imaginator, you can completely customize the lighting to your exact specifications, as I'm sure you're aware.

Sure, I like to completely maximize my FPS, but it's worth a shot, and looks pretty damn good imo.
