reinstall, old savegames + missing mods

hi there,

 

i reinstalled steam due to some problems and therefore lost all gamefiles except the savegames. i reinstalled it all, but can't remember all the mods i had. when loading a game it says, it misses some mods - now my question:

 

is there any way to find out, which mods were active when the game was saved?

You can use Oblivion Mod Manager or Wrye Bash to find out master list of saved file.

Like LFact said, Wrye Bash is especially useful in that case : it has a "savegames" tab in which you can see precisely which mods were linked to your savegame. From them you can even edit the mod list to remove any dependency you don't need/want anymore. Pretty useful!
