Dankuj
Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to actually place NPCs in the world. I've been trying to find a way to add NPC's in the game by just making a new NPC and using other NPC's templates. Because I use sharing and caring companions I have no real need for other companion mods, but I would like to be able to have followers with unique names. But whenever I place a newly created NPC into the map, he never appears when I actually play the game. All I've been doing is drag and dropping the new NPC into house mods or world spaces, but they never show up.I've never added a NPC into the game, but I figured it would just be a drag and drop sort of thing. Any help is appreciated! :thanks:
Skotte
1 ) in geck do the npc's you are adding have any AI packages? (ex. no use looking for an npc outside vault 101 if it feels it must go to tenpenny tower) 2 ) in geck have you made sure the npc is near the ground ("F" key) 3 ) did you make sure your mod was active for the game (>fomm< is excellent for this & other things) 4 ) is fallout3 installed in "Program files" & you use either Vista or win 7? (this can cause mod problems)
Dankuj
Thanks Skotte, I think the AI package was the problem.
