Mmorpgs And Why They Suck...

From what I've seen, there aren't many bugs aside from me loosing connection to the game server. There's lag is some areas, but because I tend to stick towards .5 - .8 space the lag isn't that bad. the further you go towards 0.0 space the less number of newbs you'll encounter, ergo less lag. Back on the bug topic, I just started playing so I can't really comment aside from the lack of bugs on my watch. I do know or assume that after the Kali expantion comes out I'll probably have to relearn everything, but I got time. Plus the extensions and improvements coming to the game sound incredible, at least from what I've heard thus far.

Agreed on the mining part, I gave up on that and started killing rats and running missions. As my standings are thus far, I can make close to half a mil or a mil in a succesfull night if I play my cards right.

This coming from a guy who's still on DIAL-UP  , but I really don't understand mmorpgs at all. I mean, an RPG to me is supposed to be a single player game, with a good plotline, emotional chars, and a deep story. I really don't know how mmorpgs can be implemented. If I can recall, about the only mmorpg I've ever came into contact with was PSO (Phantasy Star Online) for Dreamcast, and later GCN. Even then, it wasn't the same as what a current mmorpg is like. I don't play 'em, and wouldn't care to. I just want an RPG, similar to Oblivion, but better. And much, MUCH more visually appealing 8) .
