CthuLuke Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) Download the updated SKSE, did everything I needed to, copied the dlls and loader, created a file in NMM for the Data file included with the Archive and now when I hit the SKSE Loader, it tries to run through Steam, and so Skyrim isn't running in SKSE (evident by the fact that a lot of my mods have warned me that they can't find SKSE). Am I doing something painfully wrong? I've followed Gophers video and still have the problem? IsharaMeradin Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 Only one thing and it isn't too painful. SKSE starts Skyrim but if Steam is not running when Skyrim is started Steam will be started. This prevents SKSE from doing what it is supposed to do. Solution is simple: Ensure that Steam is running before starting SKSE. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
