YamiJustin
So I have a pretty powerful custom PC, but obviously Skyrim's own design makes issue pop up. The common one for me is random CTD, which was likely caused by not enough memory. I use SSME in order to give the 1st block of memory 500mb, which the 2nd one having the original amount. But they full up so damn quickly! And even when I get a crash to desktop, neither actually hit the limit (I'm actually more concerned for memory block 2, which always gets to about 200-220mb) I use BOSS and everything is properly in order, I also use Wyre and have the rebuilt Bash Patch every time I change something, and used that TESedit to clean everything. And yet random CTD every now and then. I can't shake the feeling I did not do the memory patch correctly, or it is not enough. And yes I do have a lot of mods, about 225, but like I said none of them conflict, they are cleaned, and none are the bad ones like Warzones. Any help ? :/

YamiJustin
I could never get the SKSE thing to work, memory blocks would always report me as only having 256mb for both blocks. SSME is the only thing so-far that reports back as having more memory for the first block, or even lets you set either block higher. I cannot seem to get the SKSE memory patch to work, I have to create a skse.ini (yes, it's an ini and not just a txt file) myself but nothing seems to work that I put in it
Essundym
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038/? an skse.ini already made and have the right stuff in it remember skse has to be in skyrim/data/skse/plugins or it wont work. Skse the program http://skse.silverlock.org/ 1.7.01 new updated wich goes in skyrim folder but getting installer will do that for you unless u have skyrim an other place, reason i told u to remove ssme is because its been included in the skse 1.701. :-P anyways the cell stabilizer is the real gem it just made my game so much more stable :-) and yes the stuff you had in skse folder/plugins is supposed to be there cleaned up some of what i write to make it less confuzing xD my bad... YamiJustin
My SKSE plugins folder simply has these files in it:CellStabilizer.dll, CFM_extensions.dll, chargen.dll, chargen.ini, MemoryBlocksLog.dll, MemoryBlocksLog.ini, MemoryBlocksLog.log, nioverride.dll, nioverride.ini, SKSE_Elys_Uncapper.dll, and SKSE_Elys_Uncapper.ini. Not sure if those are what's needed. After using the files you gave me (reinstalled SKSE, and dragged the ini to the folder), I check to see if the SKSE_steam_loader.log was generated, but it wasn't. Also, my Memory Block Log still says I only have 256mb for each block :( I also have a seperate SKSE folder in my documents which has 4 files: skse.log, skse_chargen.log, skse_loader.log, skse_nioverride.log It feels like it just doesn't want to work for me
YamiJustin
Never mind! It seems that because I didn't have Steam the original didn't work!
camaro_69_327
SKSE files belong in the Skyrim folder, NOT in the plugins folder...read...

Essundym
what do you mean steam the original ? if pirated and not fully updated all thats been said here wont really work for you most of mods even on the nexus are updated for final version of skyrim 1.9 same goes for the steam workshop i guess and we are not allowed to help ppl who are using pirated version either. Im sorry if i have made the wrong assumption.
YamiJustin
My brother had some legendary discs for me to use, but I don't use the Steam application. In any case, no problem with the assumption. But I was having my memory blocks fill up way to fast (like block 2 would get to 200mb within a few minutes). I had 225 mods, RealVision ENB max settings (Except some lighting setting and the full depth of field), and a bunch of other texture mods. However, BOSS said everything was in the right order, and I used Wyre. Because I didn't run the Steam application or whatever, I had to use another method to enable the larger memory, which worked. But ultimately I still had crash to desktop problems, always when memory block 2 exceeded 200mb. So I reinstalled, and when I began anew I kept the texture mods only to the recommended RealVision ENB mods (in total about 50), and then added gameplay ones like extra quests, and only 2-3 heavy-script changing ones (Skyrim Reborn, Revenge of the Enemies, Deadly Dragons). Although I technically didn't activate 120 mods, (maybe more like 90), because of how some mods have multiple esp files, I have 120 in total according to BOSS. So far, no issues in my current game, with higher fps due to the lack of more texture mods. If I have more issues, I will upload the list of mods I use, and hope someone can help. Thanks for the advice so far.! It's a shame that whats holding back this game from being so much better is not because of my PC (which is a beast), but because of Skyrim's engine.
