72Grabber
I was trying to use console commands to make some of the scavengers you find in various places unkillable but cant figure out how to get their base ID. I have MMM with the increased spawns so the scavs need some help!

72Grabber
Are those specific scavengers or are they just random? I was trying to get their codes so I can set them essential. And of course resurrect them. Thanks for the reply by the way. 0307BA - Scavenger064E1F - Scavenger06B12B - Scavenger06F703 - Wasteland Merchant
pkleiss
Those are the base forms for all the 'Scavengers' in the game. The setessential command works on the base form, so you should be good with those IDs.
cloak174
my question still hasn't been answered yet, or rather, my variant. I'm curios as to how you actually find said base ID w/o leaving the game. :nuke: probably should have said something sooner... My bad
WoogieMonster
I'm not sure how to attain the ID's while playing the game, but the ID of every character is listed on the wiki http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_charactersIf you're using the console to do things to people, you can just click them with the cursor if you do not have their ID. AlexxEG
Install FOSE and when in-game. Go into console, click on the character, then type "GetBaseObject"Then it will appear in the console
pkleiss
GetBaseObject can also be abbreviated with GBO or gbo. And using that FOSE function is the only way to do it in game AFAIK.
Muncy1
hit console and click on whoever you wish to resurrect or kill or whatever and it should have the id next to their name,at the top of the screen, but you wouldn't really need it if you just wanted to resurrect or set them them essential
