I am trying to make a Korean sword (which looks somewhat similar to a Katana) as my very first mod but I am having a trouble..

I have followed from 11:18 of this tutorial here (www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hYHj2Dy49s) to finalize my project. (and save)

Whenever I follow that tutorial, I am getting empty void or rather holes on my object like the picture I've attached below.

The side looks fine but the hilt and handguard are empty.

I can't really put a texture on the emptiness..

I am using Cinema 4D Prime R14 and MudBox 2011 to apply textures.

Are there any ways to remove those holes?

I figured it out..

I probably didn't know because I'm only a beginner in 3D modeling but all I had to do was put everything into a new 'Loft NURBS' and right click it then press 'Connect Object + Delete'.

Then change layout to 'BP UV Edit', do as the Youtube tutorial says and save it as .obj.

Note this is only for Cinema 4D.

This should leave everything as it is and it should pop up nicely in MudBox.

Great you could work it out. I would recommend to pose such questions next time in a specific forum for Cinema 4D or 3D modelling. I'm sure you have a better chance to get proper answers than here.
