bishoppx
I was hoping one could please edit Axe of the Vashoth so that if would be equal to, or greater than, Starfang, without making it completely OP/game-breaking. Reason being: I see Oghren as more of a 2H axe man, but it's hard to pass up such a good weapon for one that's not comparable. It seems simple enough to request, so if anyone is feeling generous please do this for me. And if you're feeling really generous, maybe a few different material choices, like dragonbone or whatever. Here's a screenshot of both weapons: http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/4056/screenshot2010032005263.jpg

DarkeWolf
the things that you have to use, to use winter forge, is in Origins. The forge itself is spawned in the party camp. No party camp in Awakening. If you dont want to start your awakening campaign over again, you can use the forge on a second character, and then mod the item, then do a savegame edit. edit your inventory from the second character, over into your Awakening character. there's tutes on how to do this if you search for them thru google, yahoo, bing, what have you. As long as you don't rename the object, or try to put a different model on it.... only changing it's properties and bonuses, it SHOULD transfer over to the expansion. One thing to mention, if you havent already started Awakening. DONT leave the weapon on Ogrhen, when you transition. It will not be on him in Awakening. Keep it on YOUR character when you transition. None of the old characters that show up in the expansion have the gear on them that you left on them in Origins.
bishoppx
Okay cool, I'll try the save game edit. What exactly am I searching for though? Simply searching for "save game edit" or "save game edit inventory" hasn't shown any good results for me.
DarkeWolf
when searching i always start out with "Dragon Age" or "DA" You might check around on the http://social.bioware.com site, they usually have a lot of good references for using the toolset. DarkeWolf
The starfang is part of the warden's keep DLC. You get the metal for it, after you do the cutscene of the two fat folks coming across the baby in the crater (the superman baby scene as it's been nick-named) and then collect the metal from the crater. You go back to the warden's keep AFTER completing the mission there, and after transitioning to another area (like going back to camp). you then talk to the new smith that is there, and he'll create either a two handed or one handed sword from the metal. Starfang is the 2hander. You can also acquire them both thru the console command runscript zz_starmetal_sword (if you are in origins, and have the DLC. Console commands dont work in awakenings, I have heard). the axe I dunno about.

I have done that cut scene a bunch of times, but I have never bothered to go back to wardens keep after beating it. LOL. Thanks DarkeWolf.
