Pineapplerum
Can I change the texture of an object using Tes Nexus? I have crate I want to turn into a planter. I have the plants in the crate already but the wood of the crate still shows through the top of the crate where the plants are coming out of. Can I make the top part of the crate look like it's dirt instead of wood? How? I've looked online for it but I can't find anything on the subject. If it were me I would extract the crate texture from the vanilla game, then edit it so that the appropriate side had a dirt texture.
David Brasher
One standard practice is to use a fort ruin rubble object and shrink it down to size and place one or more of them in the top of your planter. There are other rubble piles, rocks, and mud ramps that might also be useful for this purpose. It might not be exactly the effect you desired, but it is really easy to do and doesn't require any modeling or retexturing.
Pineapplerum
Hi Savage, I haven't learned to retexture yet. I'm working my way up to that but someday I will be able to do that. Hey Dave, I did that inside the planters and now I'm going to try it with the crate. Thank you.
SavageArtistry
Hi Savage, I haven't learned to retexture yet. I'm working my way up to that but someday I will be able to do that. That's fine; we all work with what we know. If anything, my response and David's response show two different ways to go about solving the same problem.
