Archive Invalidation

Hey all, i installed this mod whereby you needed to edit your archive invalidation file and by accident i moved my file and i dont know which the original location was :confused:

i installed it and checked the "delete archive invalidation file". The mod however still doesnt work(elven map redux).

are you using Vista/Windows7 and you installed under the Program Files folder?

What mod?

What file did you move? And where?

If you use OBMM, there is a built in archive invalidation - actually 2 different methods.

i have windows vista but im sure i installed the mod in the right directory. The mod's called "elven map redux"

The "archiveinvalidation" file needed to be edited before it would work. i use obmm but i have no clue on how to use its archive invalidation ( i tried and read a tutorial)

 

edit: i moved it the archiveinvalidation file caus it would let me just save it. So i took it out of the folder but forgot wich exact folder it was.

i have windows vista but im sure i installed the mod in the right directory.

Windows Vista + installed under default directory = 99% of all errors.

 

uninstall and re-install to some other directory

 

NOT under Program files.
