Pineapplerum
Not asking for any help. I've done my research on the subject but I'm still nervous about uninstalling my Oblivion game. My Oblivion game works fine but my Tes construction set is messed up because of two stupid missing .nif files. Anyway, just procrastinating. La de da. I've already copied all my data and saves. I'll reinstall it eventually. Sometime today when I'm finished stalling. How is everybody?Okay, I'm doing it now. I didn't uninstall KOTN or Shivering Isles. I guess I'm supposed to? Well, I'll see what happens.

Pushkatu
Just in case and if you don't use it already, Wrye Bash is a multifunctional program/utility. It will help with your load order and with your saved games. Some saved games won't work becouse of missing mods/files. With Wrye Bash you can see all the mods you had installed when you made that save and also can clean it out. Cheers,Pushkatu!

Some mods are absolutely necessary for your savegame to function at all such as your character being built upon a custom race provided by a mod. Other mods are not necessary and won't cause any real issues if you do not have it active when you load your savegame. LHammonds
Pineapplerum
Hi,Thank you BBen, LHammonds and Push. I reinstalled but I'm still having issues with my Tes Construction set. If I don't right click on TesConstruction icon and go to advance to use different credentials than TesC pops up with a purple render screen and doesn't have anything listed in the cell view window but Tamariel and wilderness and the render window is purple. I check the Oblivion data to be loaded and then it just gets weird because the render screen is stuck. It's like it's frozen and I can't really do anything on it. When I do use the different credentials option than TesConstruction set pops up like normal but first all of these "file in use" warning windows pop up:Ashara charactersInterior lightsKorboSkipIntroNatural interiorsReborn AyleidsSDCrystalBallLampsUFF&RM Warrior SkinVOP VampireAgingFaceFixI've tried unchecking all of these mods from my Oblivion\data but it still does the same thing. When I click on "DATA" to install the Oblivion file-those error file messages come up again. So I load the Oblivion file onto Tes Construction and nothing else. I click on the area I want in the cell view window (BrumaWorld) and it pops up in the render screen and seems fine until more error messages pop up: Not a .Nif file in Rocks\JeralMountains\JMSmallRockSnow01.niff and the other is Not a .Nif file in Rocks\JeralMountains\JMSmallRockSnow02.niff.I reinstalled Oblivion but I didn't clean install the mods. I guess I have to or is there an easier way? I have dozens and dozens of mods that I don't feel like having to redownload. There's a "DEFAULT.esp" file I've never noticed before and it keeps popping up in my Oblivion\Data file. I don't ever remember seeing it there before. The only thing I remember doing is uploading the TesEdit mod and I think I used it while using TesConstruction. I tried deleting the TesEdit mod but it made no difference.I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I've never seen it or noticed it before so now it's bugging me and I want it to go away. By the way Wrye Bash is too difficult for me to install. It makes my brain hurt. I even tried the self extracting one and that didn't do anything except have a lot of writing in a Notepad like message that I really didn't understand. I need a Wrye Bash for dummies. A great utility for sure, but once I got used to Wrye, I gave up learning how use OBMM. You should still check both. As far as I know OBMM helps you install/uninstall mods faster, but there are not to many OBMM mods out there.Cheers,Pushkatu By the way Wrye Bash is too difficult for me to install. Pineapplerum
What I really don't get is I have saved Oblivion Data files on my back up so I went in and I got the JeralMountain rock files and I copied and pasted them over the files I had in there. But I'm still having issues. I know the files on my saved/backup weren't corrupt when I saved them.

The same thing happened when I used the quick edit option.
