maplevolt
Greetings, I'm unable to edit my Supporter Image section uploads. I've tried logging in/out and changing/saving my Site Preferences to no avail. Every time I try to edit a Supporter Image, it doesn't take. This problem applies to ALL of my Supporter Images. Things I can't do:Change the image titleChange the image descriptionChange the image Category (e.g., Aesthetics, Combat, Hidden) or any other settings (Adult Y/N)Sticky my own comments Things I can do:Upload an imageDelete an image Here's a link to one of my Supporter Images if it helps: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/SupporterImages/3550/This has been going on for at least a few weeks. Any ideas? ETA: I do not have any of these problems with my general image share uploads, only Supporter. Many thanks,-m Edited July 15, 2014 by maplevolt
AaronOfMpls
I seem to be having the problem also. I tried adding "(Test edit: Checking for a bug.)" to the bottom of the description on this pic. I saved it, got no error messages, but the page hadn't changed. I've refreshed and hard-refreshed the page, too -- no change. EDIT: And now I've restarted my browser and cleared its cache. No change there, either -- the description hasn't changed. Thandal
Sounds like a site-coding error. I suggest submitting a trouble ticket using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. That way it'll come to Dark0ne's attention in a way that gets it to the developers quickly. maplevolt
Thanks for the reply, Thandal. I've submitted a ticket via the "Contact Us" link. Not expecting an immediate fix, but do you have a ballpark on support department turn-around time? Are they a dedicated team that addresses member-specific tech issues, or are they the same team that deals with larger projects/site problems? Knowing who/which team handles this will at least let me know what to expect in terms of resolution time. Thanks again,-m
Thandal
There are no "teams", except in the loosest sense. There's Dark0ne, and there's the three-or-four coders he's hired recently. Plus two "Admins" and a double-handful of us "Moderators", and you have the entire Nexus Staff. (Yeah, plus however many folk at the hosting facilities, but they have nothing to do with functionality or content.) This is likely to fall in the "Important, but not urgent" pile. You'll get an automated acknowledgement, and then probably a personal response from Dark0ne as to his feelings on the matter. AaronOfMpls
Hmm, the bug seems to be fixed for me now. I just tried editing this pic's description again, and this time, "Test edit: Checking for a bug." is showing up. :D (I'll change it back later.) maplevolt
Same - just tried it and can do almost everything: change setting/edit description, etc. Still can't sticky my own comments. It says "you must be the author or a moderator to sticky a comment". But I'm pretty pleased with the other fixes! Thanks guys! -m
