Awaikening - Endings

Hey, I just finished Awakening about 3 mins ago and I thought I wanted to know how the ening for others was.

If you would also give your opinion about the game it would be nice.

Well, my character was imported from OC, Human Noble, male, I just finished Redcliff and the Dalish Camp with it, I planned on completing it then importing it to Awakening but since I once had already finished with an other Male Human Noble I imported it rightaway.

I recruited all the Companions in the game, in the end Battle I remained to save Amaranthine. I got all upgrades for the Keep(The Enduring Vigil), and ran off to Amaranthine with Velenna, Oghren & Sigrun. I accepted the Architects offer.

The outro said that Velanna runs off after some years, Anders left after some years and came back after 2 months, Oghren stayed at Vigils keep until he rot, Sigrun ran off to Kal'Hirol eventually, Nathaniel got outa Ferelden to seek Fortune and Justice died defending the Vigil*shrugs*

As for others, the soldiers of Vigils Keep became the "Silver Order" or some crap, Dworking ran off and that Alec guy became a Hero.

Now here's a part that I wanna now if it was just for me or for all, about the Warden the thingy said that you dont remain the "Commander of the Gay" for long and run off, "some say to Orleis looking for the Black haired Mage who fought with him during the Blight, wether he found her or not is uncertain"

Now, I romanced both Leliana and Morrigan with this char, but the approval rate was about "Care". I did reach love with old char however but I dont think this has something to do with it. And doesnt Morrigan die if not doing her plan and such thing? I dont know because I always do it(or her so to say xD)

About how I found the game :

Bad Points :

- The whole "Improvments" for Vigils Keep were almost exactly the same as for Crossroad Keep from NWN II. Have to find mines, stones, pay for upgrades, send soldiers to protect here and there... I mean it's still great, but since the OC was so much cooler than NWN's OC I expected the first expansion to kill off MoTB(First expansion of NWN II) which it really didnt, MoTB had a much better storry.

- Reactions of older companions aka Wynne and Alistair, Alistar marely says anything and treats you very official which was pretty dumb and I didnt expect that attitude from Wynne.

- Mhairi, as I said b4 I'm not very fond of her, but just think the group needs more Goodies, my crew seemed like a group of thungs running around streets and tossing people around =/

- Justice, the guy was an upgraded version of Sten if you ask me, I expected something... well... different, more Fady so to say.

- Goodbye Old Life was kinda lame too, I would have freaked out if I was playing with my Elven Mage who was romancing Leliana, because the Outro or whatever the thingy is called in the OC said that she runs of with you to Vigils Keep to restore the order, BS.

- Lack of Romance, I had no problem with this when Bioware announced it but in my opinion it would be awesome if you could romace Velanna and Anders, why? Because the only thing that a cranky women like Velanna needs is a good Humping ;) and Anders, well, are there any girls who dont want to throw themselves at him?

Good Points :

- Anders, Sigrun and a bit Oghren. If you've played the game you'd know what I mean.

Post 800

I had a different ending. Mine, the folks got all upset over me buring the city, and I had several riots afterwards until Esmerelle died of "apparent suicide". Which means, I'm killing that she-dog in my next playthrough.

You must have chosen to go after morrigan in your playthrough. In mine I chose that I was going to travel and ended up with "Some years the later the Savior of Ferelden vanished entirely. Nobody knows for what purpose she departed, yet neither does anyone think that her tale is complete...."

Human noble female warrior.

Anders stayed, said he was gonna leave when the tower wanted him to do a lecture, but was back 2 months later.

Velanna stayed with the wardens, then one day disappeared into the deep roads, presumably to go look for her sister.

Nathaniel stayed, and after saving my brother (Fergus Cousland, Teryn of Highever) from a band of bandits, a portion of Amaranthine was returned to the Howes. He passed it on to Deliah's son, and eventually had a statue of him put up in the courtyard there.

Oghren stayed, and was pestering the hell out of my new recruits, and I was making him write home to his kid.

Sigrun stayed, but one morning vanished, having been seen headed towards the deep roads.

Justice stayed, and eventaully aura got to where she couldnt take his body decaying anymore, and told him not to come around anymore. after that, his body just...died. and aura finally was able to bury him.

So yeah.... half my team decides to eventually just up and vanish!

I saved the keep and let Amaranthine burn. I killed both the Architect and the Mother. I figure the only good darkspawn is a dumb darkspawn. The only great darkspawn is a dead darkspawn. That, and knowing from the book that the Arch never really gives you the whole story about his intentions, I wasnt lettting him get away.

As for Al, I didnt wanna talk to him. He and I had a falling out over the whole bit of him having to be king. Wynn, I coulda drop kicked her off that staircase we were standing at the top of. Got so sick of her in Origins that not keeping her around was OK with me.

The whole bit about Mhairi.... omg, I have NO idea why peeps are making such a BFD about that. She died in the joining. It happens. Nobody threw massive hissy fits about the one that geeked out in Origins when they drank the blood cocktail.

I played through as a female elven mage that had romanced Leliana in the orginal game.

I chose to protect the city of Amaranthine with Ohgren, Sigrun and Anders.

Killed both the Architect & Mother, darkspawn remain dumb and look for the remaining old Gods underground, The Dwarves reclaimed Kal'Hirol after clearing the Deep Roads from Orzammar to the Thaig, The darkspawn were pushed further underground. Ferelden was safe again.

- Ohgren stays Gray Warden and remains at Vigil's Keep after it has been reconstructed keeping in touch with Felsi and his child.

- Justice & Velanna died during the defense of the Keep.

- Nathaniel was the hero of the defense and became Warden Commander when I left restoring the Howe's name and honor.

- Sigrun remained with the Wardens then went to the Deep Roads for the calling and died there.

- Anders went away but eventualy came back to train the new Warden Mages.

- I was seen travelling with a red haired bard called Leliana to have many other adventures in other regions like Orlais.

Last part made up for the missing of Leliana during Awakening, damn I missed her.

awwww, I wish I would have gotten the ending where I went off with one of my companions :unhappy:

I guess I shouldnt have told sten that I might go with him, told shale that I might help them, AND told Leli that I'd go with her, hahahaha.

I still cant figure out why she wasnt there, the thingy clearly stated that she moved with you to Vigils Keep to restore the order, but anyhow.

So the game chose these things for my char randomly? Or somehow went through the old char? The whole going after morrigan making Alistair king thing...

I guess Sigrun leaves for the Deep Roads anyhow, kinda sad, she was the one woman with the right attitude in the whole game if you ask me.

Some of it is selected from the ending of your trip thru Origins. Other parts are taken from your trip thru Awakening.

Sigrun wasnt too bad personality-wise. Tho, they effed up her face morph with the biggest ugly stick that they could find. That and the whole "I'm already dead" bit got old after about the 5th time I heard it.

I think the only reason lillianna wasn't there was because she went to the urn of sacred ashes. Perhaps she died there, or remained in service to the Reverned Mother?

Best playing human male noble who ended being king marrying Anora in Origins. She makes such a great queen in Awakening.

Whatever happens if you crown yourself king? Then Alistair would become the Commander of the Grey right? And you dont have to run around like dorks and such crap to upgrade a keep and save asses.

Well IDK but there are endings which make you king and Al Commander, or endings that you die in them, what happens then?

She's dead, not everyone survives the joining, yes it's tragic but you need to get over it. It's getting annoying. Bioware never said she would be a companion. All they said is that she was a "character". People read into because she had her own trailer.

As far as the endings go. Wasn't interested too much. The game went by too quickly for me to have been that emotionally involved with any of the characters or story elements.
