polaris1966
I'd agree with the quest involving Glarthir. Bleh. :yucky:
Zuperbuu
Just decided to hate Clavicus' Quest. I killed Umbra before it, had Umbra, but it decided to send me after it again anyway...but because I have it already I cannot complete the quest. >_<
BlackerrR
I've changed my mind... I don't like every Shivering Isles' quest. I've just finished "Court of Dementia" quest, where you are Grand Inquisitor for Lady Syl. Lol, it's boring, it's good idea true, but i can't stand it. Pineapplerum
**SPOILER** SPOILER** I hated that quest where you drank the Hist stuff and you thought you killed a bunch of Goblins but instead find out you killed a whole family of innocent people. That was psycho. I got upset about that and couldn't stand to see their dead bodies on the ground whenever I passed by their house so I tried to drag them all into the water-thinking they would sink and disappear. But instead they just floated around for a few days. Really sad.
jedimarine
I didn't like the Daedric Quest where you have to get the people in Bleaker's Way to fight...mostly because it ruins a nice little village for the rest of the game. Similar thing with the Hist drink and the Blackwood Company in Water's Edge. I Dislike the Mage's Guild Quest where the Bruma Guildhall is ruined for NO REASON! The Girl Gang in Anvil is a disappointment...and I don't just mean in the obvious way, they just crop it off with the guards arrival...the "items" left by Johns could've led to several quests themselves. Mazoga and the White Stallion Quests...mostly because they are shallow excuses for bounty hunting missions.
BlackerrR
Investigation for Countess of Chorrol. I don't like it, you have to talk with 5 people and it's boring. But truth to be told, reward is nice.
Dimmu666
I hate all quests where I have to follow someone. Those Npc's walks like snails and most of time I run not walk so those quests are torture to me.
chaospearl
I don't care for the Imperial Corruption quest. Every damn time I play through it, I hit that bug where the timing is somehow off and even after you convince everybody to testify, the guard captain tells you he's going to arrest Audens and then he just stands there and never does it. Once I followed him around for three game days straight, each time I asked him about the topic he'd reply that he has the necessary evidence and will go and make the arrest, yet he continued to wander around the streets doing whatever it is he does, and never made a move to go after Audens. Eventually I give up and go do other stuff, and then inevitably hours and hours of play later when I'm leagues from the IC I suddenly get the random message that the arrest has been made. It makes me insane because I really wanna see the scene where the guy gets arrested and hear the exchanges, and I've NEVER been able to do it because of this. razorpony
Getting Lex transferred to Anvil bothers me. You start in Bravil, go to Anvil, go find a stranger, wait a day, go to Imperial City, go back to Anvil, talk to the Countess, go BACK to Imperial City, then to Bravil to complete. I hate that mission with the burning fire of 1,000 suns. Someone needs to make a carrier pigeon mod so I can send word to people without wandering all over the countryside. Dead drop missions I hate for similar reasons. Repetitive boredom, but I persist becuase that 400 septim per week courier job at the end makes it all worthwhile. :wallbash: -Razorpony
jonesjoshuar
Taking a bit of a different tact with this topic. I am currently writing the "story" for the quests in my mod (see signature) glimmerstone castle and town. To avoid spoilers, i will not go into too much details. This i will say: You find a jewel and a note that fell from the amulet of kings. (its explained but i am not going over it here)You go to the castle and speak with the captain of the bloodguard. He will then give you some quests to achieve the loyalties of the different fractions. Mages guild, Mining guild, mercenary guild, fighters guild, bloodguard, villagers and castle servants and/or nobles. Which of course are not on the best of terms with each other. Hes the rub, every quest will have at least 2 outcomes depending on how you handle it. These outcomes effect the final quest. In essence you will be given an alignment for these actions if your actions fall on both sides the final quest will be inevitably more difficult. Darker characters will find their way and if do everything in a "dark" manner the final quest will be easier and the life in the castle will hopefully reflect this with the "rewards." For instance, a necromancer guild replacing the mage's guild. The final quest will be a siege of some sort. Large scale however localized in relation to the player. I wont go into too much detail, its planned, just no spoiling it. So how this relates to the topic. With the vast generalizations above, what kinda quests WOULD you LIKE to see in this? I know to keep courier quests to a min, though i know im already planning one. Yes it involves books. But its WoT books so its okay and you get the heron mark blade for them...so not bad. Or if there are some warnings about what not to do. Id just like to say we gamers are egocentric. Morrowind main quest was better becasue we were the center of the universe. Oblivion we are errand boy/girl for the center of the universe. I wanted to say screw martin let me at mehrunes dagon. Well i making things egocentric in my mod. Its all about the character and the nature of your character is taken into account.
