  1. You can't simply add this feature by changing the game settings, but it can certainly be modded into the game. You can search Nexus Mods and see if someone already made a similar mod.
  2. Keep in mind that not all mods will work well together, especially when you have 210 plugins + model/texture mods. Having so much mods might put an unnecessary strain on your Skyrim install if you are not careful. Best way to approach modding is to include Unofficial Skyrim Patch in your setup. To try to prevent crashes, download SKSE (if you haven't already) and take a look at this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725
  3. A note about using Wrye Bash (WB) and BOSS ... WB no longer supports BOSS, but that doesn't mean you can't use the two together. You won't be able to run BOSS from within WB but BOSS does a fine job sorting all but the more recent mods in Oblivion (I believe that LOOT is getting better at sorting Oblivion mods, but I've never used it myself so I can't say that with any authority). To use BOSS plus WB just turn off Lock Load Order in WB and run BOSS from it's desktop shortcut (the BOSS GUI version). For newer unrecognised mods I just set up a User Rule from the BOSS GUI. If you look at the BOSS Masterlist (which is just a text file that opens in Notepad) you can search for similar mods to the one you're setting up a User Rule for (Notepad's Find off the Edit menu works great ... search for the actual ESP file name of the similar mod). I start out by setting up the User Rule to sort the unrecognised mod after the last mod listed in that section of the BOSS Masterlist and do some testing to look for any anomalies in-game. A good place for info on using WB is the two readmes ... Wrye Bash General Readme.html and Wrye Bash Advanced Readme.html, both found in the Oblivion\Mopy\Docs folder. Yes, it makes sense, I should have probably pointed out that LOOT is getting better at sorting Oblivion mods, but I would still prefer BOSS over it. Either way, I am still making my own TES4Edit patch to prevent any additional conflicts. As mentioned, BOSS has strict rules and fixed number of mods it supports (you can change the mastelist.txt yourself, od course), but if you are looking for a more flexible tool, LOOT is the way to go. You would not have to tinker around load order as much and LOOT is still being worked on (LOOT is BOSS' successor).
  4. What NexusLord10 says, you probably sold the ES back to Urag without remembering. Read about it here: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Elder_Scroll
  5. This sounds like a mod conflict, meaning that at least one of the mods changes the HH cell. Best way to to find a culprit is open your load order in TES5Edit, look under skyrim.esm and find the HH cell in 'Cells' section. Click on it and on the right side, you will have a list of mods that change that same cell.
  6. ENB should not affect your game in that way. Before installing any Skyrim mod, make sure to read the instructions provided by the modder. You can try manually downloading the mods and installing them using either Wrye Bash (which I prefer from the Oblivion era) or Mod Organizer. I haven't used NMM so far, but I can hear that people have issues with it.
  7. This is most definitely a mod conflict issue. Beware of the outdated mods as most of them already have healthy alternatives: http://wiki.theassimilationlab.com/tescosi/Popular_Outdated_Mods Install mods one by one instead of bunch of them at a time and take a look at the best possible modding tool you can find for Oblivion: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/22368 Use BOSS to sort the plugins for you: https://boss-developers.github.io If the issue persists, send us your load order and we will see what we can do.
  8. There are 3 great video covering Talos' life and else, if anyone is interested and have time, start with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZjneISs-vA It doesn't give you specific answer, but maybe it can help you to reach your own conclusion. Also they don't cover everything. If you want to learn even more, imperial library is the best source you can find.
  9. I stopped playing Skyrim for 4 times now, but I always get back. Things get old, especially when you play vanilla game over and over, it's a general rule for any game. We are lucky to have mods which every time can give us something new. If you know your way at modding the game, I recommend any overhaul mod. That mod alone (whatever mod it is) will change you experience by 360 deegres, trust me. I prefer SkyRe, but that is outdated so you have to know fix compatibility issues with newer mod, plus you need to download tons of patches. After that you can make enemies powerfull and diverse, Skyrim Immersive Creatures is great mod, also ASIS is fantastic to make your battles more interesting by increasing spawns and giving perks to other NPCs. Concerning dragons, Dragon Combat Overhaul is fantastic if you like HC game style, other than that there are ERSO Mighty Dragons and Deadly Dragons (I use all three and it's awesome, they realy make dragons semi gods). Maybe survival mods like Frostfall, Hunterborn, Realistic Needs and Diseases etc etc. Are you into magic? Apocalypse is fantastic mod, also you can try Midas Magic which I endorsed since Oblivion. While not technically magic, Thunderchild takes thuum to totaly another level, really makes you fill like dragonborn. These are my suggestions to keep Skyrim interesting, but it all depends on personal tastes. However, with the list above, I guarantee new game, like Skyrim 2 or something.
  10. When I first played vanilla Skyrim, I remembered the first time I played Oblivion (Legendary Edition). I was amased, happy like a child, e.g. main quest is better, I mean Oblivion Gates...f**k yeah, Saen Bean, Battle for Bruma, also factions are better, even DLCs (KotN, Shivering Isles) and more. I guess that after Oblivion I expected something incredible. I think that calling it "a horrible piece of s**t" is an overstatment, however after buying it I felt a little bit cheated because of my much higher expetations. Things like combat, too many useless and unimaginative perks, even hole skills, NPCs seems to be randomly generated without any motivation to give them some deeper purpose, realy caught my eye. But Bethesda gave us shouts, dragons, more quests, civil war (ofcourse they could have done it better), dual wielding, don't forget butterflies too :) After playing Skyrim some more, I learned to love it, even with its' crashes, freezes, stuttering, but now I couldn't imagine playing without mods. Skyrim is the best game I have played so far and I will keep playing, and Oblivion is not far behind but I'm missing it every day.
  11. Hahaha, I didn't know that, I must see it, but only 1 hour after I eat
  12. As far as I can see, your load order is a mess. For example, Oblivion.esm MUST be first on load order list. If you're not using it already, download BOSS, it will automatically set it for you. But you should know that BOSS will not recognize all mods, so you must manually place these mods. Are you using Wrye Bash? It can make your life easier. When someone has too many mods, it is really complicated to make things work without BOSS, Wrye Bash and without base 'knowledge' of how load order works. Maybe I am wrong, maybe you understand this thing, but check these links if you're not familiar with it: BOSS: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516 Wrye Bash: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368 LO Guide: http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/loadorder.html And finally, if you're feeling you need to learn everything you should know about Oblivion and mods, this guy Tomlong knows how thing work, check this link: http://tescosi.com/wiki/Oblivion , he made my life so much easier. By the way, English is not my mother language too, so sorry if it's bad :)
  13. Bruma, I love almost everything that frakle likes. Very peaceful town, Bruma Statue. Also, it fills pretty much alive when you finish 'Aid for Bruma' quest. The only town I like just waisting my time and wondering around, especially near the Chapel :)
  14. Great, can't wait until 11.11! Also, I think that ingredients having 0 weight is for Demo purposes. Thanks for this topic, Zeazer.
  15. One time I decided to have fun killing Imperial Guards, so I entered in watch tower in IC, cast a fireball with 100 Damage, lasts 100 seconds and with 100ft Area of Effect + difficulty set on 0. 7-8 guards started rebounding of the walls for few seconds. Sick, but very funny xD
  16. You could try retexture of each Mages Staff that is not on nexus: google 'tjb mages staves' Also there's a nice fog fix: google 'oblivion better fog' and one of first few links is mod link If you own Shivering Isles you can download a nice hat for Madgod (not sure you can find it here): google 'oblivion flamboyant hat' These are all I can remember right now, but honestly 99% of mods can be found here. Also, these are small mods, but useful and funny too.
  17. I am sure this will help: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/A_beginner's_guide,_lesson_2_-_Creating_a_room
  18. Just started playing Oblivion again, only few mods (+DLCs) makes my Ob directory 8gigs big :)
  19. You need to use 'Boots of Springheel Jak", jump to these broken stairs and simply climb.
  20. Elven Map is very cool thing, but I'm not using it since it increases time needed to reveal map, but I REALLY recommend it.
  21. Also, almost every enemy has some kind of resistance, which may cause not to be affected by reflection, I think that this is how things work....
  22. check this out: http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence.html
  23. Floydian, that picture is amazing! well done
  24. Just a tip! ImpeReal City and mods that add more NPCs can 'overwhelm' RAM making NPCs just standing around or missing. Oblivion's system engine seems to have a limit concerning NPCs, but I don't know what kind of limit. They have AI-s which they use ALL THE TIME, even if they're too far away from you, and engine just breaks. I think you should know that  sorry for bad English...
  25. In modded Oblivion (which I highly prefer) in 23th lvl my difficulty is on 65, but I always start with 45, and as I get more and more experienced, I rise it up. In vanilla, max difficulty is 55% because (as someone said here) there is no weapon to match e.g. Goblin Warlord or Ogre....enchantments neither!
