Pineapplerum
Hi, me yet again,Asking another question about modding. I'm now working on my Skingrad beautification mod and I'm very excited.I did some adjustments and started my mod. I started up my game to go into Skingrad to see how everything worked and looked. That's when I found problems with another mod I have installed. It's TreesInCities. I like this mod but will uninstall it if need be because all the trees aren't grounded very well but I could fix that and there's some trees in the way of my mod. They're blocking statues and in odd places I don't want trees. How would I go about changing the other mod? Would I put that mod as the active mod and make adjustments and then save? Would my changing the trees in Skingrad, in this mod, effect the other trees in other cities the mod had put trees in...even though I don't edit the base? When I do upload my mod-would I have to warn people that these two mods conflict with one another because their version of TreesInCities hasn't been altered the way it would need to be to get the best effect of my mod but it doesn't make the game crash or anything. Thanks again :woot: (Wacka, wacka, wacka!-Doesn't this smiley face remind you of Fozzie Bear?) ZareCograth
Yes, you can alter other mods in the CS, but they wouldn't be allowed to be uploaded unless the original author said it was ok. If you do upload your mod then yea, it would be a good idea to mention any mods you know of that conflict with such as TreesinCities. If you mod just the Skingrad area then it won't effect the other areas. To do that you would have to go to every area that it effects and change them. razorpony
If you just want to make changes to the trees mod for your own personal use, it's possible to select both it and your skingrad decor mod (both have x's next to them) but make the tree mod the active one. This will load both mods into the CS but the changes you make will be saved to the tree mod. It'll help you see where everything is so you can move the trees out of the way and get an idea how the 2 will look together. -Razorpony
