modluv
Hi, I'm putting a mod together to replace the "Sultry" voice set for Human females. Maybe Elf females as well. I asked around and people said that was the one they disliked the most because the voice sounds like a brainless bimbo (I'm quoting here) rather than sultry. People mostly like the others except the ladder comment in the Violent voice set but that is easily replaced by another mod so, I'm leaving that one alone. Anyway, I would love feedback, ideas for lines or whatever you would like to suggest. The project link is:http://social.bioware.com/project/2400/&v=discussions Thanks ahead of time!! JimboUK
They are very good, far better than the ones in game. Theres a little noise on some but I'd use them.
modluv
Thanks, Jim! I'm working on reducing the background noise. I think it was my computer fan that was getting onto the recordings. >.<
VGfallout
i must say i am surprised at how good the majority of them sound, there is slight sensitivity clipping and tearing on a few and the subtle "hiss" in the back round as mentioned above, aside from that, this is about as good as someone at home can get it done. given the proper equipment/environment, could have easily passed as an "official" voice. as far as the "issues" go, you should know this is very, extremely easy to correct/heal. one of my little skill sets happens to be...well, anything that is audio. restoration, mastering, editing, whatever.... and as a fellow modder i would gladly offer any help were it to be requested to push these at full potential, it could even be done with the current samples, hell i could even work on 2 or 3 before i go to bed tonight just to give you an idea, plus, remember with audio its never as bad as it can seem, thankfully there is usually always ambient sounds/music/etc playing at the same time, so with enough improvement the human ear wont pick it up or prioritize over the rest of the audio being streamed regardless, the voice actor (im assuming would be you or someone you know) sounds extremely natural and gives off a confident vibe which is what is needed to fit into a game, theres been a handful of custom quests ive played and the one thing that always suffers is usually the voice acting. i was so surprised at they good they sound i couldnt resist coming to rant about it, good stuff keep it up, would like to see this manifest into a release, somewhere, eventually :]
