yoyoguy678
When I go to download a mod it comes up with the page where I pick a server, then I click on download file, and then it just freezes. What is causing this problem?

What is causing this problem? Does it literally freeze, and is it just the window alone? Or do just nothing happen at all when you click the server? If you run dualscreen make sure the download links arent appearing on the other screen :D I was having this problem myself, tearing my hair for an hour and when i was gonna go make some dinner i saw the Downloads were on the other monitor and i was like "Duh!" After I hit download file it sits there for a few seconds then I see a loading circle by my mouse then the window freezes, everything else works as normal but the window. bben46
Most download problems are caused by firewalls or antivirus settings on your computer blocking the download. Check your settings to be sure The Nexus is not blocked. You can also try a different browser. I have used Firefox 2 & 3 and IE6,7 & 8 successfully. IE has become very consistently unstable - especially when trying to download files on the nexus (and some interesting forums too) My favorite is when IE decides it's doing something and you need to waitThen it decides it won't do anything at all. All went away like magic when switched to Firefox.
