I played with the text in "dialog"

Hi,

How can I restore the defaults for the texts in the dialog for CS? I was playing around with the texts in there, thinking I could just delete it but I had saved it first and now it won't go away. How do I make it go away? I was trying to make a dog "talk" and now the ncp asks (in text) "Can I pee on your leg?" I don't think that's appropriate and don't want it in my game. Please help. :unsure:

"Can I pee on your leg?"

:woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

Hahaha, sorry, but I can't stop laughing. :laugh: I hope you will forgive forgive me. :turned:

All you have to do is set condition which detect that talking "creature" is NOT playable race, like:

GetIsPlayableRace == 0 or

GetIsID "PeeingDog'sID" == 1

That should do the job. Or simply delete the mod. :thumbsup:

Instead of deleting your mod, I think you should just mod-clean it.

TESCS>Main Window>File>Data>Select your mod>Details>Highlight your bad dialog changes>Delete button on keyboard>Close>OK.

Unfortunately, Oblivion doesn't handle talking dogs, scamps, and mud crabs like Morrowind did. If you want a talking dog, you will have to brace yourself for a very hard work-around that few people have the skill or time to do.

You're welcome, Pineapplerum.

Unforunately, if you enter any NPC's dialogue, if delete any dialogue, e.g. 'What's going on with you', you will delete dialogue for ALL NPCs. So, i (not only me) recommend creating new quest, without changing original dialogue. Here's tutorial, it helps a lot. :thumbsup:
