I'm sure I'm a little off on the exact quote but he says "Some people like to bring friends on their adventures....". Bethesda put a hidden message about ESO, the next Elder Scrolls game at the point in time, like they always do with M'aiq. I'm sure most just thought he meant followers but nope. It's a referance to the fact that, since Mkrrowind, people have questioned Bethesda about whether or not they wee going to implement co-op or multiplayer. Really, this is just another one of those post-fact prophesies that comes out with every new TES game. Once Oblivion came out, people suddenly all understood the 'hints' in Morrowind which indicated Cyrodiil for the next game, and the same happened with Skyrim. Todd and Kurt are both on record as stating that they do not know where they are going until after each title.
