  1. It's likely being caused by orphaned scripts and not memory issues.
  2. So I started modding Skyrim and I fleshed all of the issues that arose in process except for that cropped up recently. I will crash every few minutes without warning. According to the SKSE minidumps, the error code 0xc000005 which is trying to read from virtual memory data without proper access. At least that is the description that Visual Studios gives me. Important things that may be related. SKSEENBWindows 10Skyrim is installed on second driveSame goes for Mod OrganizerAlso something to note, I have pagefile disabled but task manager tells me I have paged memory along with MSI Afterburner reporting the pagefile being used.
  3. So I decided that I want to make my own house using an autostorage system. I also am using the scripts from the 'Amethysts Hollow Dreamworld' mod since the author has allowed use of the scripts. There are four scripts that are concerned here and I was wondering if anyone understood them better than I can. I understand the one is for putting it on a something like a lever to enable/disable the system but the others I'm not sure about.
  4. I was playing Skyrim yesterday and came across M'aiq outside of Whiterun. Guess what he said? I'm sure I'm a little off on the exact quote but he says "Some people like to bring friends on their adventures....". Bethesda put a hidden message about ESO, the next Elder Scrolls game at the point in time, like they always do with M'aiq. I'm sure most just thought he meant followers but nope.
  5. In response to post #12445910. #12455005 is also a reply to the same post. It sounds to me that you have barely played the beta. For the record, the beta is in bad condition because when you have millions of people experiencing bugs, much of the game data becomes corrupted. Its the reason why you can't keep your characters when the game comes out. They have to wipe EVERYTHING clean to fix all of the issues.
  6. I too have ENBoost and SSME. However my loadscreen times are at the most 20 seconds. My laptop is nowhere near as good as your pc and isn't having a problem. Must be something else causing it. If you have a lot of mods that use scripting, that can slow the load time down. If you are only using the boost part of ENB, make sure that in your enblocal.ini these are set: [GLOBAL] UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true UseDefferedRendering=false If you leave UseDefferedRendering on then it still tries to load the graphic enhancers even though it can't slowing down Skyrim immensely.
  7. Not bad. Could be refined a little but overall pretty good. And i actually meant like a list of what the mod will feature. Mainly so both us know what is going to be in it and the work that needs to be done.
  8. Sorry i didn't see this earlier. Move your Skyrim folder out of Steam/SteamApps/Common to somewheres else. Then just reinstall Skyrim in steam. Or an easier option is to right click on the Skyrim folder and then copy and paste.
  9. Oh and please create an overall description of what is going to be in this mod. I don't feel like going through all of these posts. It's a lot of work trying to figure it out.
  10. Have you actually played Skyrim at all on your computer. If not, then do so. The Skyrim.ini file should be generated. Also it should appear in Documents/MyGames/Skyrim. The file is actually only called Skyrim. The .ini just refers to what it does. The type should say configuration settings. He might give advice but I doubt he would actually help with the work.
  11. That is very normal, trust me. I recommend having 2 installations of Skyrim. The one that you play and the one you use creation kit with. And try not to have any other plugins than the one you are working on in the same folder as creation kit. The more plugins you have, the more it crashes, even if they aren't loaded.
  12. What kind of problems, most of them are normal. I should be able to help. Give me the full list and I will answer.
  13. I won't be using the internet much until next week since I happened to get a beta key for ESO for this weekend, but I'm gonna work on scripting since that is most likely the hardest part of modding. It is basically a programming language so yeah.
  14. I've actually started modding just last week and have been thinking about making a mod like this. Although the scripting this would take, as of right now, is beyond me. However, I have started to make an outpost on the norhtern coast Haafingar that has a building with a jail in the basement, with log stockades protecting the front. It also has dock on the backside with a longboat for transport. It's on a peninsula near Ravenscar Hollow which happens to located within a secluded cove. It still a WIP but I could definetly contribute to this. I plan on learning scripting since i was actually going to do a slavery mod, although nowheres as near complex as this. I'm willing to try though.
  15. They are definitely some of the best mods for people new to Oblivion. I'm assuming that you'll get more mods that really add to and alter gameplay. If you do be careful of their incompatibilities. I would definitely recommend Better Cities after playing vanilla Oblivion for awhile. It is still being updated and the authors check it everyday to help people have issues with it.
