skinnytecboy
Gentlemen, I stand corrected. On this occasion, it was indeed my Ben that was affecting Braith, or at least in your case. I have edited the esp in tes5edit and removed all reference to her. She now resides happily in Whiterun. Apologies if I ever came across as negative, I was partially worried about the overall effect of "persistent refs" if this had turned out to be true... which of course it did. NOw I have to wonder about if using them will affect other NPCs. Perhaps Viamro will start wearing dresses or something
Speederbike
Well, I am experiencing the same issue here. However, everything about her routine remains the same: she sleeps and eats at her own home, walks around Whiterun, but she is all sad and wants me to adopt her I am not using the Professor Benjamin mod, so that's not the issue. I am using the RS Children overhaul, but even with that disabled and uninstalled, she is sad. I just want her to be sassy and rude again . Any help would be appreciated. I'm not having that problem with Braith, but I am having it with Dorthe, in Riverwood. I've had it with Braith before. Of course, I'm so heavily modded that I have no damn idea how to even begin narrowing things down.

Ben is awesome, & he makes a perfect addition to the faculty at Dragons Keep :) I can't blame you for being sceptical. It's beyond weird, & the fact that others are having similar problems without this mod installed still makes me wonder if the problem still has more to do with vanilla code than it does with mods. Keep up the good work!
GlassDeviant
I narrowed it down to this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53557/? Just in case this helps anyone... I don't have this mod, never knew it even existed, and still get the Braith problem.

I don't have this mod, never knew it even existed, and still get the Braith problem. Use TES5Edit to see which mod is conflicting with the Braith NPC actor. GlassDeviant
Wow, you got me beat. I have never once had more than one Braith at a time. What a nightmare! At least it wasn't 4+ Heimskrs all preaching the glory of Talos at once.
cubedj21
i have a braith in her house and one in the orphnage and 2 near lars ect and some/most want me to adopt them wtfthat must be definitely caused by some mod or by you using console commands... try to press console (tilde key) and click on each one of them to find out which is the original one (refID 0001A66B) and you can tell by the refID (xx###### - xx is the load order of parent mod) from which mod the others originate from (if that is the case)... you can delete the others by using "markfordelete" command but it could brake the functionality of those mods that spawned them... myselfamhell
I narrowed it down to this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53557/? Just in case this helps anyone... I don't have this mod, never knew it even existed, and still get the Braith problem. Use TES5Edit to see which mod is conflicting with the Braith NPC actor. But how can I tell if that's the case? I looked at Braith in TES5Edit and I'm not sure how to find out which ones do conflict with her. I've resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
