kirshan
what would be the best semi-affordable version of photoshop to use for texturing? any suggestions would be appreciated. Kirshan
iSmithyy
I personally use CS3, I don't know how it is for price but it gets the job done quick and easy, moving onto CS6 which is a lot more expensive than 3 but I imagine it does more, having not used any others though CS3 is the way to go from me! kirshan
Thanks, I'll look into that, just want something to do the job without costing an arm and a leg.
lofgren
I'd suggest getting the last version available as a stand-alone download. The subscription version is great (I use it myself) but unless Photoshop is actually bringing money into the household you probably don't want to be paying a monthly fee for it. Plus I don't think any of the new features are really helpful for texturing but I can't 100% swear to it because I don't feel like looking up the new feature list right now.
