leaderdante
Hey what are some good mods that are reminiscent of Fallout 3's D.C. area? And no, don't say Tale of Two Wastelands or Fallout 3. Those are 100% unplayable for me. I'm talking about a huge, D.C. like area filled with cookie-cutter areas like offices, stations, vaults, etc. Everything from BoS, Enclave, mutants, ghouls, robots, raiders, survivalists, etc. can be encountered. Something larger than Freeside, but not longitude like Lonesome Road, and no huge open space like Old World Blues. I'm already running A World of Pain, and I checked out The Torn City. I want more mods like those, if any. I'll appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
SayinNuthin
You may like Warzones. Does what it says on the tin.
LoneWolf6
Hey mate, check out "Better New Vegas', it changes some of the areas in The mojave, especially around new vegas, you will get a Post apocalyptic vibe rather than barren desert vibe, if you want new lands, then try Denver Dog City, not the best of all mods, but has decent quality voice acting,
blaze1514
Beyond Boulder Dome, Dog City Denver, and Project Brazil all are big DLC type mods. For the obvious fact that there is TTW (and other older mods) there has never been a need to make a DC worldspace. I do not know why they would be unplayable (other than not having the game). I say just wait for a steam sale and grab Fallout 3 GOTYE (that is what I am doing). Edited July 20, 2014 by blaze1514
leaderdante
Hey thanks, guys! I'll definitely check these all out. blaze1514 wrote:For the obvious fact that there is TTW (and other older mods) there has never been a need to make a DC worldspace. Could I help it, I would just save the heartache and download someone else's successful conversion. But since that would be against TOS rules here, I just deleted FO3 and written it off as $20 down the drain.

My friend uses TTW, I saw him instal it twice (he like to clean instal his things a lot, says it improves stability or somthing). I didn't see him have any problems with it...Did you get any error messages?Did you try it with an unmodded NV?Did it crash? If you can tell me a few things I will try to help you. If anything I can ask him what he might do. Plus if all else fails I am sure there is a thread someone here can direct you to that deals with TTW installation help. MarchUntoTorment
Check the TTW forums - the staff there are always happy to fix install issues! Plus, knowing what's wrong helps them work out how to improve and stabilise subsequent versions.
