I have been playing Skyrim for awhile, and when I play Oblivion, I am disappointed by how weird the body looks, and when I look for body replacers, they are often over-sexualized (yes, I play as a female character) with huge breasts, butts, jiggling body parts, preteen looks (wtf people?), or, more commonly, character nudity. (this is the Elder Scrolls, people, NOT THE FAP SCROLLS!)

So, I've been wondering if anyone would be able to make an Oblivion body that looks like the bodies from vanilla skyrim. Whoever volunteers to make this can choose the weight style they want (Skyrim has an option to change weight, but I don't think Oblivion is capable of doing that, even with mods). I think the body should look as much like the skyrim body as possible, even copying the underwear style and color, mostly because Skyrim's vanilla bodies are not over sexualized (if you say they are, tell me why, I want to know), as the genitals are perfectly covered by underwear and the breasts are compressed by a bra that actually fits the player character.

Now male characters should have Skyrim bodies in this mod too, as it looks a hell of a whole lot better than the Oblivion body, it can show off the muscles of male characters (dude this is Tamriel, people exercise, adventure, and train for self defense. To do not so would be a death wish) as most people want their male characters to look badass (me included, even though I only played one male in oblivion). Also, Skyrim's males have dirt covering their bodies due to exposure to outdoors, which is more realistic than the ugly pale bodies in oblivion.

1. People mod what they want, it's rude to disparage the people who give their work out for free even if you dislike their taste.

2. Oblivion's male body replacer is far better than Skyrim's, Robert does excellent work it is truly a shame he has not release a body for Skyrim the way he did for Morrowind and Oblivion even SoS doesn't compare either in choices of frame or in texture quality. And in several cases the Skyrim body replacers are actually derived from Robert's Oblivion work. As with most conversions a lot was lost in translation from game to game.

Finally there are lots of body mods already available for Oblivion and it is not an easy game to release a body for, it took people literally years to get body modding figured out and released for Oblivion and some of them are quite nice (I use UFF - Unofficial Fantasy Figures) but even if someone is willing to take a model from Skyrim (which have their own balloon like qualities in a lot of cases) and import it into Oblivion they'll have their own issues to work with, one being the skeleton which can and does distort the bodies of Oblivion rather hellishly. It's not a quick task that will take someone only a moment and the results are likely to be subpar - in the meantime you have a few options: learn enough about modeling and texturing to make your own conversions and do it yourself or find one you can live with and get on with playing.

He has a valid complaint, Oubliette.

Yes, those people have lots of talent, though it feels like it is misplaced talent.

The amount of skimpy mods on this website is just staggering.

But don't let opinions stop you or others from making this sort of thing. People who run the website isn't stopping them, I don't see how I can.

While I stopped caring about this kind of thing ages ago, since I just make my own mods from now on, I do know how it feels not being able to find a decent mod.

And just because someone worked hard on something, it doesn't mean it's automatically immune from criticism. Nothing, no matter how good, is immune from criticism.
