Rhydderch Hael
In Alessia Ottus' Guide to Cheydinhal, she describes the watercourse running through the city as the Corbolo River. Yet in the map it is clear that the Reed River, a tributary to the Corbolo, is what is flowing through Cheydinhal. The Corbolo drains from Lake Poppad. The Reed drains from Lake Arrius. That much is certain. How did Mrs. Ottus get this wrong?

Rhydderch Hael
We should recommend to all new players that they sit down and read all the Guides before ever setting foot in one of Cyrodiil's cities. Let their first impression conveyed by the books clash with their perceptions of the places once they actually get there. Those people would appreciate finding out for themselves just how much Alessia Ottus' works are full of bunk. chrisdragon425
Why is the Fighters' Guild porter in the Chorrol hall an Imperial when all other porters are Bretons? And why does this one Imperial porter refuse to fix your gear when the Bretons do? Check out my guild porter mod, that fixes races so you see at least every race except argonian as a guild porter. :) Also, why are people's hair shiny/glossy/plasticy, especially the elf races? What do Kajiit and Argonians have against each other? If you attack a guard and run off and keep a reasonable distance from him, why does he continue to chase you endlessly over the countryside? Why are there only 2 female guards in the game? Why do Bandits and Marauders hate each other (TES CK shows each have -100 to each other) How does Argamir break into the mausoleom in the evening while guards are still on patrol? Where did the goblins come from? How does the count of Skingrad satisfy his "cravings"? Where is his wife?
Povuholo
This is how some quest in cheydinhal (?) starts. You talk to someone and he could say: "I did <something> and then <someone> charged me for five gold! I barely make that in a year!" 5 gold in a year? Does that mean they can only buy 5 apples a year? And how come they can afford a house there, which costs around 15.000? Does that mean they worked 3000 years for it? Rhydderch Hael
Also, why are people's hair shiny/glossy/plasticy, especially the elf races?Dreugh wax is valued as a hair care product, to keep it from being messed by wind or rain. What do Kajiit and Argonians have against each other? There is quite a lot of racism in Tamriel. Don't see how Argies and Jeets are any different in that regard. If you attack a guard and run off and keep a reasonable distance from him, why does he continue to chase you endlessly over the countryside?Because he's doing his frickin' job. Why are there only 2 female guards in the game?Actually, there's a third, but she's undercover— and for some odd reason she maintains that cover after the sting operation is completed. And, as an aside, this is one reason why my Imperial assassin began dressing up as a guard to use as her cover while working in the Dark Brotherhood. Why do Bandits and Marauders hate each other (TES CK shows each have -100 to each other)They're rival organizations. Each side is cutting into the other's profits and stalking territories— and they're not going to share... How does Argamir break into the mausoleom in the evening while guards are still on patrol? There's a little thing in the game called sneaking... Where did the goblins come from?Klingons beamed them down when they figured the inhabitants of this world just weren't getting bothered enough by little green men. How does the count of Skingrad satisfy his "cravings"? Where is his wife? This can be answered just as soon as you take a character over to the dark side. Rhydderch Hael
Which would have brought up an interesting little rejoinder from my character once I noticed the curious red stains all over the robe: "Couldn't you schmucks have taken the robe off before you had your little party?" Try explaining that to your friendly neighborhood dry-cleaner. ;)
Rhydderch Hael
When you dive into the "Doomed Mine" or the "Cursed Mine" and discover that they're filled with bandits, do you get the sense you've walked into a Scooby Doo episode? That the reason these mines are regarded as cursed, haunted, or doomed by the local denizens is because the bandits have been scaring folks off in order to mine the riches themselves? I found that a bit odd, though. Why would bandits scare off honest, hardworking miners in order to dig up silver and gold nuggets themselves? Wouldn't the smart, crafty bandit allow some miners to dig up the stuff, then nab the loot afterwards? ;) Never took these bandits for geniuses, but puh-leeze.
