Feastday DLC worth buying?

A: It was to celebrate April 1st

B: This really goes to the artistic director and producer as well as the marketing director and their poor decision making skills. They should either be demoted or have a serious chat with management about their future. Feast-day should be free not $2.00 US which is $3-$4 in where I live.

This also is their strategy about 2 years of DLC before sequel. I am sad to say that I am disappointed with BW but it is not their fault but rather EA's management of the franchise. I find it strange that BW is not keeping up to it's standards, with ME2 with great DLCs and DA with mediocre DLCs. There are massive issues with DA division that are in urgent need of fixing and fast may I add.

Please accept my apology for buying this laughable DLC. I did have a reason, Leliana approval too high for Marjolaine quest to initiate and which patch 1.02 did not fix, and I figured that this would be an easy way to lower that approval without mucking about with the console. It was my fault that I did not notice that patch 1.03 was a requirement. I absolutely refuse to install 1.03 until EA decides to do their damned job. Total cost for me was $5.00 (about one third the cost of a bottle of Bailey's) and, being retired and on a fixed income, $5.00 is not something that readily falls from my ...um... pocket. I also noted that the remainder of the Bioware points do not show.

While I am quite used to being dollar-raped by the likes of Bank of America, I did not expect to be treated the same way by a game producer. I should have known better. The damned bean counters will have their way and they will abuse their clients (are we not an absolutely vital part in the equation?) but they do so at their peril.

Needles to say I will NOT be buying "Awakenings".... and I was rather looking foreward to doing just that.

I am so sorry.

I personally love them, i think the price should have been about half of what it was. but it was worth it just to see Sten fight with a rainbow and butterfly sword!!! I always thought he was an ass who needed to be brought down a notch. and it was fun to put the cone on dog every time he had an injury. So they are fun just for the role playing aspects.

well, I hate to tell you guys this that paid for it, but you can get the same approval mods for free. There's Metagame Items which has the "hate stick" and there's dragon age beguiler, which has the ability to raise or lower approval in increments of 10, or all the way. + 100 to -100.

Could always hold out in hopes that someone creates a knockoff mod duplicating the april fools DLC like they duplicated the promo content.

Codifier: I'm with you. Some of these items should be given away for free. When you're on a fixed income $5.00 here and $5.00 there for what proves to be relatively useless can be fairly frustrating. For me, gaming and reading are really my most inexpensive forms of entertainment. You certainly cannot afford to go out anywhere anymore. Anyway, don't feel bad about not buying Awakenings. It was also pretty much a waste of money. But, don't get me wrong. I just realized how negative I'm sounding. I absolutely love DAO and am totally addicted. I just feel that some of the add-ons and expansions so far have been a little too rushed and that Bioware may be taking advantage of a good thing. I really hope they take their time with the sequal and do it up right. Good gaming.

I agree with you about DAO. I am also addicted and I do thank the creative minds at BioWare that brought this great experience into the world. They seem to have put their passion into DAO and it does show.

EA is another kettle of fish.

In a similar vein; every Ferrari you will ever encounter has been blessed by the passion of Enzo. That passion is expressed in every Ferrari....... they have "souls".

The head of General Motors is an accountant, he counts beans...... does anyone even know his name?
