_StYlEwAlKeR_
I'm using a full FCOM install. I have renamed MMM.bsa to FCOM_Convergence_Mart'sMonsterMod.bsa. What the above poster said is probably true as well, but that's just for OOO and MMM. I'm using FCOM itself and what I just recommended works for me. The reason this happens is because something in FCOM (maybe MMM, I don't know) makes a cool bloody corpse shader effect for dead bodies. Also, did you register Fransesco's in your .ini file? There's a little trick to avoid having to do it, but I just do it. I haven't had to regenerate my .ini file yet, so I would just register it and be done with it. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, you have a lot more research to do.) FCOM is not for the faint of heart. I spent five hours setting it up. I took my time. I've only had one problem so far. The secret to installing FCOM is: don't be in a hurry to play the game. Just remember, the time will eventually come, even if it seems like it won't. http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence.html Read both the detailed and first time install instructions and if there's anything conflicting make a judgement call for your personal tastes or machine. Remember, I took five hours installing this puppy. The only problem was, I forgot install the meshes and textures for OOO 1.34 Beta 5. After that, I haven't had a problem yet. (That I think is FCOM related. It's Oblivion so there's always something....) The rename-thingy worked, but I'll probably use your suggestion, just because the name contains "FCOM". If it works.I know what you're talking about. The first time I wanted to play this game with FCOM, I was eager to play it, so I rushed through the install and failed. The second time I followed FiveFrie's cheat sheet step by step, and it nearly worked, but because I play the german version of Oblivion, I had no IG-voices. I gave up FCOM and stumbled over the FCOM-translation by Cato d. Ä..Francesco's is already registered, and I didn't have to do it myself.SArchiveList=Oblivion - Meshes.bsa, Oblivion - Textures - Compressed.bsa, Oblivion - Sounds.bsa, Oblivion - Voices1.bsa, Oblivion - Voices2.bsa, Oblivion - Misc.bsa, FraNewItems.bsaIs this correct? Fonger
@Fonger: Why? :s well you have more than one mod that the compatibility patch would work with and simplify game play.
DoctorRobert01
What was said earlier about mmm together with ooo is true for just that, but not for mmm, ooo, frans, and warcry (fcom). Just to be extra clear: do NOT use "mmm for ooo", or any other "mmm for xxx" when using fcom. I have the same problemn with the green corpses, and I think I have located what we did wrong when installing fcom: When installing fcom, and the turn comes to mmm, we are asked to first install the data folders of the full mmm 3.5.5. then we are asked to install mmm3.7, a patch for 3.5.5. The thing is, after the cheat sheet was created, the file mmm3.7 is no longer a patch, but a full version packed with a .bsa file. The upload date for mmm3.7 is later than the date set for the cheat sheet. If one look at "older files" at the download section of mmm, one can find the update from 3.5.5 to 3.7. i.e, we have to full sets of mmm. I believe that this somehow f*#@s up the mmm part of fcom. I will as soon as i can delete mmm3.7, and install the patch wich i think was intended in the cheat sheet, and come back with results.
