Razakel
Hi, I'm new to these forums so I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I've recently been playing around with the construction set, just trying to get a feel for it and tweak a few things. Right now what I'm trying to do is move a building (specifically Mountain Tower) from its current location to a new one.I've looked for some CS guides online but I've not been able to find something that addresses this.If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.Should be fairly basic right? David Brasher
Yes, that should be a mod that you would be able to make. You can select and box in all the objects in a large area and copy them. You could select your entire building and the surrounding clutter. Then you could go to the new exterior cell and paste it all. Keeping it all selected, you can then adjust its height and orientation to match the form of the land. (Like it will end up levitating or sunken in the earth when you cut and paste.) You may need to use the landscape editor to change the contours of the land to fit with your house. You may need to use the landscape editor to remove lots of grass textures and replace them with nograss textures so grass won't grow through your porch and sidewalks. When your building is positioned right and you are sure you got everything, go to the old building and make the door so it doesn't teleport anywhere. Then delete the old building. You will need to reconnect the door of your new house to the interior cells that make up your building.
