  1. I have a very bad wrist injury that prevents me from using a mouse when playing which means I have to use a gamepad. I just plain can't aim accurately and quickly with it so I find myself relying on VATS for almost everything. The problem is the constant cutscenes and slowed down audio are really jarring. If it's possible I'd like to have the cutscenes totally removed from VATS. Normal slowdown while you pick your targets but then when I select my actions it just goes back into whatever perspective I was in and attacks the targets in real time. I hope this isn't too difficult. If anyone knows if/where this can be edited in Fo4edit I'm happy to take a stab at it myself.
  2. Took a look through to see if I could find a simple cloak or hood mod and the only thing I could find was AMM which is way beyond the scope of what I was looking for. I haven't tried my hand at modding this yet but is it possible/easy to just switch out models? For example replace one of the mask models with a hood model?

Could someone please retex the Ancient Nord Helm so that it more closely matches the Silver Dragon Armour? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18028 The helm that comes with is just a little too elaborate for my tastes so I've been using the ancient nord helm which matches pretty closely. If it matched completely it'd be the single most bad-ass looking armour around.
  4. I was wondering if someone could make a standalone retexture of the Hunters Bow and Iron Arrow quiver that was black (or very very dark brown/grey). If it's possible it'd also be awesome if the Iron Arrow quiver used steel arrows with black feathers. I love playing sneaky assassins but all the bows and arrows I've found don't quite match the outfits I wear or they're just too ornamental. Seems like it'd be a fairly simple thing to do for someone with retexturing experience. Thoughts?
  5. Hi all, I've been building a house mod and I'm adding weapon plaques. However when testing in game after adding a weapon it floats off in the room somewhere and is not placed on the plaque. I have one plaque that works fine but all the others aren't. I've tried fiddling with the rotation of the plaques but to no avail. Is there a known solution for this yet?
  6. I've seen a few mods where a weapon can be sheathed as a side weapon but is wielded as a two hander and I'd like to give it a shot. I'm looking at a mesh right now in NifSkope that has both a one and two handed version and the only difference I can see is that one has BackWeapon and one has SideWeapon. So I did what I assume everyone does the first time and just changed those values. Which of course leaves me with the sword hanging at my side and me drawing an invisible sword from my back. Given my VERY basic understanding of how to edit meshes in NifSkope, is this something I can realistically do?
  7. Thanks guys I found the models under a different name in Nehrim (battle-mage's armour) and managed to put it into the game. Weird thing is they both use the same file-path so it should have worked for the vanilla ebony.
  8. This is more a question than a request, although I can't seem to do it so I'm also asking if someone else please could. I've been trying to add a set of Ebony Armour into Nehrim but cannot get the armour to appear. I can get the shield, bow, longsword and arrows but all other items won't show up in my inventory. If I player.additem XXXXXXXX then the message will say that the item has been added. Does anyone know why this is?
  9. I'm trying to add a light radius to a weapon that will only activate when it's night or in an internal cell that is dark enough. (See Andruil Reforged for an idea of what I mean). Can anyone point me to a good tutorial for this?
  10. I'm not entirely sure what you're asking for. Most of what you're requesting is available in almost any companion mod. As far as picking up after the player, I looked into that myself and while it seems like a good idea it's ridiculously hard to script. The mod would have to be specific to an cell otherwise the NPC would just go around picking up everything.

  12. http://knol.google.com/k/toql-big-quest-mods# There's a bunch of really great epic mods on linked via that site. I've played most of them and can't think of any I wouldn't recommend myself. You might have trouble tracking down some of the mods made by The Engineering Guild but if you do find them I highly recommend them. Especially the Elder Council mod.
  13. Not sure about the spell ceasing once magicka runs out but the other two conditions are easy. Just add a stunted magicka and damage magicka effect to the spell.

  17. Hard to say why it's not working without seeing the script you're using. I've done it following the script shown in those link and it's always worked. Are you making a new .esp for the spell? It might be that you need to add the spell in the mod with the items you want to use. Also make sure you use the editor ID for the items and not the hex code or in game names.
  18. If you can access the console I've always found the command "closecurrentobliviongate" to be handy. Alternatively you don't actually need to close the gates or get the allies. If you don't do it you get a bunch of Bruma Militia instead.
  19. I was checking to see if I could install a Sensual Walks file for a new mod I got, found that I couldn't and aborted the installation. When I got back into my game, my male character now has the sensual walk animations. How do I get the vanilla ones back? While hilarious at first it makes playing annoying. Edit: After a more thorough test it turns out that it's actually the mod causing it. Sexy_Maid_of_Chorrol. Serves me right for playing a porn mod:P
  20. Step 1: Open up the CS with your custom races esp. Step 2: Go to magic then abilities (it has to be an ability) and give it a night eye effect and name it something easy like "000NightEye" Step 3: Open up scripts and make a new one set it as a MAGIC EFFECT (or it won't show up). Step 4: Make this script SCN NightEyeToggleScript ref me Begin ScriptEffectStart Set me to getself If ( me.IsSpellTarget 000NightEye == 0 ) me.addSpell 000NightEye else me.removeSpell 000NightEye endif End Step 5: Go back to spells and make a spell (or lesser power) and select script effect (using that script) and name it something like 000NightEyeToggleSpell. Step 6: Go to character > race and drag the spell 000NightEyeToggleSpell into the spell list for that race. That should do it.
  21. Ah well I just looked and the reason is that the Dark Seducer/Golden Saint Armours have about 10 different versions each because they show up on a levelled loot item. So you'll need to do that for every version of the armour. Or change the levelled item loot list that the Summoned Dark Seducers/Golden Saints use.

  24. Just bumping this to give it one last shot at being made. I guess if no-one wants to do it one of these days I'll learn how to model in blender and get Photoshop and try myself.
