Vagrant0
Probably because you have too many textures within that part of the cell. when in the landscape editor, press "i" to get a list of textures used in each 1/4 of that cell. Each quarter cell can only have about 8-9 textures at any time. The alternative method is to paint over the entire quad in a texture that is already present in that quad which is set at a 100% opacity (painting a little bit over the edge to be sure). Then painting it how you actually want that cell. As for lightsaber instruction, you're supposed to look into the open end of the saber when you turn it on to make sure it's working right? ub3rman123
Amazing, that worked. I just painted over the whole square with the rock that was in some of it and then painted over the rock. After looking at the detail on the square, turns out that was the spot I was testing textures to see what to use before I started any landscaping. Well, another old problem solved. Also, you managed to solve a problem I didn't even know I had. I couldn't figure out how to rename exterior cells.
