SenjuDude
Hello to all. Straight to the point tho. I am not sure of where to post a certain interest of mine and i don't want to break any rules. May I be granted some advice? Thanks I want to post a request for a new game in the SPECIFIC GAMES section, "MASS EFFECT 2". I know most have already played and enjoyed and said ok. But i think that this game deserves a chance to be mod out of its Royal..u kno what..just like other great games such as Dragon Age and Oblivion. I hope some one or many others share this view and the admins take it up seriously. P.S. If i Have to repost my request elsewhere i will gladly do so..i just need to know where exactly Untill Then Keep up the great work and great minds. Peace  :verymad: SenjuDude :verymad:
LHammonds
This is the correct location to request such a thing as it is site-related. Here are prior topics created in this same area which might give you insight about Dark0ne's idea on the matter: StarCraft II Nexus I create Nexus sites for games I not only play, but really enjoy playing. It takes a lot of time, effort and money to release a new Nexus site and there are a number of big variables that I need to take in to account before I will even consider releasing a new one. I think it's very unlikely I'll be releasing a SC2 Nexus site, but thank you for your interest. Mass Effect 2 Nexus I haven't played Mass Effect and as far as I'm aware it isn't coming with an SDK which would make a Nexus site for it kind of pointless. SenjuDude
Thanks alot Dude..but your news brings me grief...NO MASS EFFECT??!?!??!....  can u explain what is this "SDK" that he mentioned tho? Thanks. Peace  :verymad: SenjuDude :verymad:
Pronam
Software Development Kit. Oblivion its CS (Tes Construction Set ()), Dragon Age its DA Toolset (Dragon Age: Origins Toolset) and Fallout3 its G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit) are all SDKs Easily said, the ability to create mods with (provided) software. Mass effect doesn't have any specific software used for a wide community to easily create mods off. If people will manage to change an aspect of the game it'll be difficult and take a long time. Simply put, there wouldn't be much mods around.. if any.. So to put up a nexus for that, would be very costly. Companies have to provide modders tools to ensure a huge flow of mods, not the way around.
SenjuDude
I understand..i hope in the future they don't do the same crap...great games live on in the wake of great mods. i think game designers should take this to heart. Thanks Pronam and LHammonds for your time. And to all admins that run across this post Keep up the Great work. Peace  :verymad: SenjuDude :verymad:
