Game freezes when quitting

For some reason I have been getting this bug. Whenever I tried quitting Oblivion (ingame, choosing exit game) it froze up, I had to quit by task manager, but if I quit by going to the main menu then exit game, it worked fine.

 

I'm using "a few" mods at the moment but they didn't seem to do anything harm.

 

Hope someone has some ideas on what's wrong.

Thanks BBen for that link. I'm still trying to figure out where the Plugin folder is and why my OBSE isn't in the Oblivion\Data like it seems like the modder says it should be. But I may be misunderstanding everything because I get easily confused. :huh:>Duh!

 

But I trust once I figure it out, it'll all work out great and worth the effort. :woot: Yay!
