Jacko
Nope - I've had the game since release but I've never completed the main quest. To be honest, I avoid it at all costs; can't be bothered with the Oblivion gates (which is a bit daft, seeing as that's the whole point of the game :teehee: ). I usually get stuck into the Dark Brotherhood quests and also plunder dungeons instead! I'll complete it one day. Maybe
shane24
I've done every quest, but the fights guild quest line and a few misc. quests. My favorite though is the Shivering Isle chain quest. Great plot. I've done it six or seven times now.
LHammonds
Nope. My initial character (Conan) was somewhere around 200+ hours doing most side-quests. I got about as far as the point where you are tasked with gathering support from various cities to defend Bruma. It was about at this point that I discovered mods. I loaded up a few, then a few more, then started mass-updating existing mods and my savegames blew up. Never could get my savegames back. Never invested that much time again into a single character either. Once I found Oblivion Mod Manager, I never had a savegame issue again. DariusMoranda
I did it once, before discovering mods...Then I did it 4 times, the whole game. All 4 times with an ayleid character, same name, same stats. I can't play it anymore,it showed it's age to me,now I play the CS game and using Oblivion as a testing ground only. Oh and I jump sometimes in,to gas the Adoring Fan in Ceyatatar Gorihame, when I get bored and lazy. Safe travels Moranda

Crann
I started to play at 2006, finished it several times now.Only the weak part was the last battle.. It was cool and all that Martin turned into the avatar of Akatosh, but the battle..And, how you just stood there looking, and nothing would hit you. But for the rest, it's cool.Only i got trouble with my shivering isle, the gate doesn't appear anywhere. :S

przemekG
Since 2006 I keep coming back to Oblivion and cant finish it - the story is so ... weak, and with all that role playing elements they took a step backwards from Morrowind. If I look at RPG games and their main quests, Oblivion would be at bottom of such list (Fallout 3 would be second from last), but like with Morrowind, the world is big, you can do and go wherever you want (I love such freedom in games) and you can mod it to death - those are very strong sides of TESIV.But yeah, its 2010, its time to complete the game, i think :P
