Crockett724
Dang it! I still get the error code 4 from SKY UI. ; ( Is there any fix for this? I suspect this error would affect the compatability of many of my mods. I reinstalled Skyrim and NMM, installed SKSE, then SKY UI, activated them both, ran LOOT, which gave me an error (http://imgur.com/grhobB3) after clicking apply after sort plug-ins, and then I started a new game on Skyrim, and it gave me the error. Apparently, there's supposed to be a mod manager while in-game, but when I try to use it, it just gives me a logo.
Xelan255
of course you get an error from SkyUI, your SKSE isn't properly installed. did you use the installer I told you about or did you use NMM to install skse again? besides, as boombro said: if you want to make a screenshot, just press "Print", that's the button right of F12, then go to paint and press Ctrl+V, then save. Much easier that way and makes a much better image.I don't know where the loot error comes from though, you'll have to google that one. camaro_69_327
open LOOT...top line >Edit >Settings> Click on Skyrim >then Click [edit game] make sure the repository is... Masterlist Repository URL = https://github.com/loot/skyrim.gitMasterlist Repository branch = master For the other error...SkyUIHave you generated NEW ini files ? Delete both ini files, Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini, (my docs\my games) then run the default game launcher (SkyrimLauncher.exe) this will generate new ini files. Hope this helps.. Crockett724
I'll try what you said, Camaro. And yes, I did exactly as you said, Xenal. About the SS, my computer is not connected to the internet. I only occasionally connect it through my phone/WiFi. If I wanted to do that, which I can, I'll just take a SS, manually place it into my phone, and then upload it. I'll do that from now on. I don't even know how to generate INI files. Lol. Crockett724
YES! Thank you, Camaro! I no longer get an error. :D And thank you too, Xenal. I would've ran into more problems if not for your help. Now...onwards to modding...safely. Lol. One question though, if I ever seriously muck up Skyrim, what should I do to get a fresh start? I know there is more to it than just reinstallation, because some files remain.
Xelan255
Just delete the .ini files camaro mentioned and then start the skyrim launcher. It will generate those .inis anew with default settings. To make sure: You downloaded the SKSE installer, ran it in your windows explorer and it installed itself in the directory where your TESV.exe is located? And still you get a error message from SkyUI ingame, complaining about not having SKSE?
Crockett724
I'm guessing you didn't see my last post. Lol. But yes, I installed it, or more so it installed itself properly. ;)

Xelan255
Ah yes, didn't saw your second post, I guess you posted it seconds before I posted mine :laugh:If you decide to make a clean install, do it from scratch and download/install everything a new. Otherwise you can never be 100% what to keep or what might have been replaced by a mod. To do so uninstall the game and then manually delete every remaining folder/file in your former Skyrim directory. That way you get rid of everything mod related. Crockett724
Alright. Awesome. Again, thanks for all the help. :) I've already added things like Frostfall, Cloaks of Skyrim, and JaySuS swords. PC Skyrim is way better than my crummy Xbox.
