Automatic weapons no longer firing automatically

Hi folks

 

Got a good one here for you. As the title suggest, my automatic weapons (i.e. assault rifles, Rippers, etc.) aren't functioning as they should be. More specifically, the firearms have decided that a 3-round burst is better for... something, while the Ripper can only be held in place for about half a second before returning to its default idle position. This started happening about... yesterday-ish? I've reinstalled twice since then but no luck. On the massive likelihood that it's a mod issue, I present you with my load order:

For some reason, I just can't shake the feeling that it's got something to do with the Tactical Weapons mod, despite having unchecked it and testing again afterward to no avail. Still, if anyone can come up with any ideas I'd be incredibly grateful as this is making almost all of my carried weapons completely ornamental outside of V.A.T.S.

unfortunately there was no solution in that thread.

 

just to be on the safe side,

 

have you run your load order through BOSS?

Yup. In fact, IIRC, my current load order is the BOSS one.

 

EDIT: Hrm... curious... a copious dumping of AP via V.A.T.S. appears to have cleared this up. Odd considering it was something like my 20th time using V.A.T.S. after the problem cropped up. Oh well, gift horse in the mouth and whatnot.

does that mean you fixed it by just using VATS? or the problem went away after you used VATS alot?
