Request: Trim down bandit armor chest for female characters

I noticed some people trimmed down stuff like the desert sorceress skirt and was wondering if it was possible to remove everything but the actual chest piece so it looks more like the desert sorceress top or advice on how to go about doing it like those people did would be helpful. Unfortunately you can't remove every piece of an armor, you can only make plane textures transparent. An example: The desert sorceress skirt is a texture plane that wraps around the characters body, but the lydia robe is a solid 3d mesh and therefore can'`t be altered. Easiest way to guess if you can make a part of an armor transparent is by looking at it: if it has transparency in it, i.e. you can look through it, then you can theoretically make the whole part of that armor transparent. Like the cloth underwear, or fur that sticks out of the mesh, and basically all cloth that is affected by physics (since that's usually 2D).

 

In regards to the bandit armor, you probably can't remove anything from the top piece except the fur.
