pcmodhouse
I'm sure it's here somewhere, but I can't figure out where exactly. I bought the new Alienware M11x gaming laptop. I would really like to play my saves from my main computer on my new laptop. I know I have to install the game and all the add-ons and then all the mods I'm using too. Then I'll copy over the games saves. What other file(s) do I need for the transfer to work properly? I really don't want to have to start all over on another system. I'm finished with all the missions and I'm a Master at alomost every skill. Help?

If it's the same OS you might want to transfer your oblivion.ini file. It's not nessasary but if any changes were made to it you might want them on your new system too. Fonger
you might want to transfer your oblivion.ini file.actually this will probably cause problems because its tuned to the other video card, performance and resolution.

Just launch the game to get a new one and edit the changes you want again. Remember to do font edits if you use UI mods that install them, set bEnableBorderRegions to 0 if you want to be able to travel beyond, etc... Obivion.ini Tweaks - http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/stabilization/oblivion <-- lots of suggestions (and some slightly more than suggested tweaks)
