BorkTrain Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I have modes using Fallout 3 and the nexus mods program on windows 8. However I have no idea where to start with xcom. It doesn't come up on the list of games scanned using the nexus mods program. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. I want to install long war and a few other mods.

johnnylump Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 If it's Long War for EW, run the exe file you downloaded and follow the instructions. If it's Long War for EU ... it's a lot more involved.
BorkTrain Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 It is EW. When I used mods on fallout it was as easy as checking and unchecking which mods I wanted to use. How will that work now if I have multiple mods and decide I only want to run a few or even turn them all off?

Some of the other smaller mods work with it, and some don't -- they'll either break it or simply not install. It's a very small modding community (perhaps six people actively modding that I'm aware of, and that may be a generous estimate),
