RadicalHaloNova
I was trying to install Interesting NPCs which took about 45 minutes to almost finish downloading -.- ( I had just a few more thousand Mb to download) when it stop and at the bottom right it said "Building Mode", I didn't know what it meant so I tried looking it up, i didnt find any answers, it then quit on me asking me to send a crash report. After that my Skyrim mod menu does not work, the loading screen gets stuck JUST before the X in Nexus finishes, but my Oblivion and WT mod menus load, all my mods installed previously on skyrim still work.(Interesting NPCs wasnt) Ive tried unistalling the nmm and that didnt work, i havent tried unistalling skyrim, can anyone help me? Edit: Would it be easier just to uninstall both skyrim & NMM? I only started the a new game and modding on the 7/28 so i really dont care about losing my save files :P Edited July 28, 2014 by RadicalHaloNova
IsharaMeradin
Interesting NPCs is a really large file and takes a very long time to download. As a result it can become corrupted. You may attempt a manual download. There is also an alternative torrent download available. NMM should install it fine provided there were no issues with the download. To get NMM working for Skyrim you'll probably need to manually remove all traces of Interesting NPCs from the game directories as well as NMM's directories. mainframex
Yeah I had the same issue with Interesting NPC's, and its a great mod, my solution was to grab the torrent then after it finished its download which was by far quicker than letting NM download it anyways. Then just add it to NMM afterwards.

IsharaMeradin
If you don't care about your saves... Open the NMM directoryFind the Skyrim directoryand delete it. <-- if you wish, backup any archives not associated with Interesting NPCs found inside the sub folders to re-import manually laterAt this point NMM will know nothing about your Skyrim mods but will still work for your other games. Then follow these instructions to get Skyrim to its original state without having to re-installhttp://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again After all that, Skyrim should be in its original state and NMM will be ready to install mods for Skyrim. Valkasha
This is probably a problem with harddrive space, installing mods creates a temporary file in your C drive the size of the mod, make sure your C drive has a couple of gigabytes of empty space.
