evilneko
I'm not sure if you do this already or not (what I've seen may have just been a fluke, or due to other things) but I think maybe you should have a script on the download page that randomly re-orders the links. Just now, when I went to downloaded Energy Visuals Enhanced, I noticed that the Seattle server had nearly 250 users connected, and the rest under a hundred. I also noticed Seattle seemed to be consistently at the top when I clicked a couple other files just to look and see, leading me to wonder if Seattle had so many users simply because of its position in the list: ie, people are lazy, click the first one, and be done with it. Now, maybe the Seattle server is beefier, has a better connection, or just hosts the lion's share of files on Nexus, I don't know. It seems to me though that it'd help balance the load a bit if it weren't on the top of the list all the time. I didn't download from it so I don't know if it was under any real strain or not. Washington and Dallas gave me 200-300KB/s speeds. Just thought I'd mention it.
