ILikeFudge
Hello,I intend to reinstall Morrowind.I played it the first time with no mods at all, just vanilla. Now I want to try it again. Can anyone tell me which programs to download, and which mods are recommendable to install to improve the gameplay.I seek: 1.Mod(s) that improve the graphics a bit.2.Mod(s) that improve the body models (eliminating that silly walking which makes everyone look like a descendant of Charlie Chaplin) and improving the head graphics.3.Good mod(s) for spellcasters.4.Mod(s) which increase the roleplaying experience.5.Mod(s) or unofficial patches that eliminate glitches, bugs etc.6.Good quest/adventure mods.7.Anything else you guys recommend. I have Morrowind,Tribunal,Bloodmoon. Any advice? EDIT by LHammonds: I renamed your account since the original name was unacceptable.
JimboUK
You'll want Morrowind Graphics Extender, it's used to add shaders, distant land ect. Better Bodies to replace the default ones.An animation replacer so they don't walk like they've got a stick up their rear end. There's a long list of mods here, have a look and choose what suits you best. Signing up for a free Fileplanet account is a good idea, a lot of mods are hosted there. AzirAphale001
If you get Better Bodies then you'll need Better Clothes as well since the vanilla clothes just look wrong.MWSE is a must have for certain mods. The Morrowind Code Patch is essential. There's the Unofficial Morrowind Patch.Just browse the Morrowind mods section on TESNexus/Bethsoft Forums. razorpony
Elric also has a lot of good Morrowind mods. Here's some more that I like: Better Heads- to go with the better bodies of course. Galsiah's character development- so i don't have to micromanage leveling. Vampiric Hunger and Vampiric Embrace- 2 must haves if you ever want to roleplay a vampire. Night Gallery and Carnithus' Armamentarium- Evil goodies to go with your vampire. armors, furniture, etc. Suran Underworld- questline for evil characters Purchasable Alchemy Lab- buy a kit that includes ingredient jars, a sorter, and a recipe book. Can be packed up and moved to any location. -Razorpony
