Firefitter
Guys, I have asked everywhere and no one can tell me! What does a stimulant do in fallout 3 FWE? There are two items I have in my inventory that are listed as a stimulant in the effects section of the pipboy when you select the item. The first being amphetamines. I know amphetamines have other effects but it very clearly states it's a stimulant. The other is a nuke-cola. The only two effects for a nuke cola is "stimulant" and "+3 rads). The FWE wiki that everyone refers me to does not cover it. The closest it comes is by describing amphetamines as a CNS stimulant. YES I KNOW ITS A STIMULANT . Now I want to know what that means. It's got to mean something because the nuke cola has it. Can anyone on here help? Thanks. Fitter
M48A5
Stimulants (also referred to as psychostimulants) are psychoactive drugs that induce temporary improvements in either mental or physical functions or both.

Thank you for giving me a Websters dictionary definition of a stimulant.. I thought this went without saying.. but in the game.... What does a stimulant do? what effects can i expect to see IN GAME if i were to take something that was labeled as a stimulant and nothing else... jeffm24
I just drank a Nuka-Cola and apparently it boosts your perception:Stimulant: PER +1 There was a delay of a few seconds before that effect appeared in my stats. If you ever want to know what something does then save your game, take it, and check your stats. That way you can test the effects without wasting chems or risking addiction. You can probably check item effects w/ the GECK or FO3Edit too.
