AmpolX
You dont use nifskope to get nifs into blender. Just open blender, hit file and go to import-nif/gamebryo file then choose the nif from said directory.

I have if installed, I'm sure, but when i go to import it isnt an option, I originally tried to do that but figured it must be a different way when it didnt appear. Pronam
Otherwise pick a package, that way you'll have all required files. Take a look here and for an example of importing here. More about modeling. A good set of video-tutorials. All about starting with blender. If you simply want to modify a mesh in blender, I'd suggest following the Basic Modeling tutorial from the videos and the blender keys. Those two get me started pretty well. Why all these links? Blender, or actually every 3d-program isn't that easy to use. ====3dsmax way easier but its rather expensiveTrue, and only about $3000+ :whistling:
AmpolX
If its not there, then most likely you dont have it installed correctly. Follow Pronam's post. It links to the packages and tutorials you need. I personally find 3dsmax way easier but its rather expensive.
