ctd at start of game

So I have reinstalled Skyrim and decided to keep the amount of mods low (still installed about a 100 mods, but still, way less than the previous time).

Start of the game goes quite smooth, right untill the point I go into the keep.

It doesn't matter if I choose Hadvar or Ralof, the exact moment the animation start to cut the bindings, my game ctd's.

I also noticed it only happens with female characters. So I guess that means a mod has overwritten the female animation for get the bindings cut.

Also, I did manage to get through it one time with a female character, but closed the game again because I realized there was another mod I wanted and thought it best to just start a new game (and didn't save after that part). The ctd at this specific moment happened both before and after I installed this last mod and since it's a weapon mod, I don't think this particular mod is the cause of the problem.

Is there anyone who can help me?

I have added my loadorder.txt as an attachment.
If you need anything more from me, let me know and I'll do my best to provide it.
Edit:
I found which mod was making me ctd. It was UNP Dawnguard Armors (odd since I have been using it for quite a while, but there it is).
There is somewrong with the files in the following map, so just delete the whole map if you've got this problem too:
\Data\meshes\dlc01\clothes\prisoner

Hey Lard2510,

Can you give me your computer specs? I'm looking at your mod list now, but without the specs there's not really a lot we can do.

MS.

EDIT: After going through your mod list, you really need to reorder a lot of these. Do it either manually or with BOSS. If you're going to do it manually Weapon & Armour mods at the bottom as they rarely conflict and almost never cause problems. I'll reorder your mods on this list and re-upload it.

EDIT2: Revivised Mod Order inside the Spoiler Tag

Thanks MysteriousSquall!

I've added my dxdiag.txt for the specs.

I've removed some stuff from it, but only for privacy reasons. Everything you need should still be in there.

I've changed my loadorder to the order you gave me.

Only difference was that the game frooze first for a few seconds before crashing.

Yeah try either LOOT or BOSS. I don't use any so I can't advise on that, but the only 2 mods I can see that effect Animations in any way shape or form are Brawl Bugs CE and Masters of Death and even then I'm not entirely sure they change any animations. Try disabling both mods, as well as your lighting fix mods and try again. Also just to check, have you run FNIS and installed SKSE?

I don't have FNIS, but I do have SKSE (and Skyrim Script Dragon) installed, most recent versions of both (I checked before I installed them yesterday).

Brawl Bugs CE is a requirement for some mods (don't remember which one anymore, so I installed it to be safe), but doesn't do anything on its own.

If I remember correctly Masters of Death only unlocks kill-animations which are in the game files, but Bethesda didn't add them to the game itself when they released it, and it allows me to increase how often these animations happen. I have set these to the same values I always do and it didn't give me any problems in the past.

I'll try LOOT, see if that fixes anything.

Thanks for the tips

Edit: Loot didn't help, so I'll try BOSS.

Instead of fighting with mods for hours or days - just remove all mods ( the cosmetic ones don't hurt) The entire Helgen sequence is intended as a tutorial and intro and is heavily scripted - so any mod that adds even more scripts can cause problems. Wait until after you are outside of the cave - make a permanent save there for troubleshooting later - then pile on your mods. Be sure to make another permanent save when you have all of your mods actually working. DO NOT overwrite the one without mods.

What were you planning on doing with those mods? Killing the dragon? Killing the guards? Rescuing the guy that got his head lopped? Anything you - or one of your mods does that goes contrary to the preset script WILL cause a crash. The intro/tutorial scripts end when you leave the cave.

Any mod that is just cosmetic - makes things or characters look better will probably not cause a problem. Any mod that gives you modded weapons, clothing or armor may cause problems. Any mod that tries to change Helgen, (such as the Helgen rebuilt mod) or change anything you are doing or using ( modded weapon or magic) during the escape sequence WILL cause problems. ALL Animations add scripts.

I understand the principle of what you're trying to say, but I've had my Skyrim far more heavily modded then this and gone through helgen and that includes using spells I wasn't supposed to have yet and having my hands untied way before Ralof or the other guy cut the bonds. So what you're saying is clearly not 100% solid, The guy might want to have all his mods installed and since it works for others why shouldn't it work for him? Infact load up Skyrim, start a new save in Helgen and give yourself an Ebony sword via the console. It will not crash, CTD or give you any errors.

Thanks for the tips bben46 and it might come to the point I actually have to completely uninstall and reinstall Skyrim.

It's just odd. All the mods I have installed at this moment are must haves for me. Most of them I have been using for years without any problem.

There are just a few with which I haven't had a 25+ hour playthrough, but even those I have been using for several months and I always have been able to play the Helgen part without any problems at all.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help (especially MysteriousSquall, you've tried to help me the most), but I think something went wrong with the installation (to me that seems the only logical conclusion left) and I need to reinstall Skyrim when I want to play as a female.

For now however, I will let my male Orc roam Skyrim, plunder tombs :pirate: and hunt rabbits
